Anyone that has any knowledge of motion sensors, strobes, home security tips please help. Ive recently been hit hard. They took everything.

Listen, I used to install alarms and CCTV for a living. You can have an alarm panel dial a pager or cell phone instead of an alarm company. The drawback is this, you need to provide the back up. You can show up and say, "Halt you're under a citizens arrest for attempting to steal my weed!" then what? You can also do a camera system and recorder to see who stole your stash, but again who's gonna enforce it? It can only be you. The best thing to do would be, to reiterate, don't tell ANYONE about what you're doing. The worst thing you could do is set up an alarm to call the cops and they come and find your "stash" cuz guess what, you're the one getting busted not the guys who tried to jack you.

Just have a tech set your alarm up so it calls a private security service. as long as they get paid they don't give a fuck what you do. It costs money ( Pigs come for free). You could also setup an electronic access system using magnetic locks, plants in a room with a heavy door with a magnetic lock that has 3000 Lbs of holding force. Card key you carry and show to a reader and the mag lock is deactivated with correct credentials.
You can also get a regular alarm that doesn't call anyone and then rig up several sirens. people will not stay inside the building if they think the cops are coming cuz the alarm sirens are going off. Just set the sirens so they go off after 5 minutes so neighbors don't call the cops for a nuisance at yer place.

OK, so who knew about your grow? Trust NO ONE. Start a process of elimination and figure out who the culprit(s) are.
1) How did they know it was there?
2) How did they know when you'd be gone long enough to take it?

you dont need alarms you need a gun, unless you live somewhere where shooting and killing a man thats breaking and entering into your home is frowned upon.

that alarm is a bit costly for someone on a GRObudget dont you think? its like $239. I found a less expensive one on ebay that does the same stuff and it can call up to 3 numbers $28.49 (including shipping).
