They look small and like they're each only gonna yield a couple grams to me? Whyyyy? I read and study as much as I can and I have no idea what's going on. Saw what I thought was nitrogen deficiency (the yellowing) but now after a feed it looks even worse! I feel bad always asking for help on here but anyone have any thoughts? Why is my yield so shitty and when do you think they'll be done?

What the breeder says for finish time doesn't mean shit, go by what the plant looks like. Every pistil on the plant is snow white it's not done,not close feed it. The plant needs nitrogen even in flower believe it or not the lack of nitrogen reduces the plant's ability to take up phosphorus. When nitrogen is at optimal levels, the plant's ability to use phosphorus from the soil is improved. Starving it is only going to reduce your yield whether it's your 1st or 1000th grow. Some people like and will argue a fade at the end of flower is good, but not that yellow that far from finish.

Do you have holes in those buckets and good drainage?

The plant doesnt look late enough in flower for it to be "normal" to me yet, i feed till chop lately and seem to be happier with the results, so still a bit green when it gets the ax in my garden these days

If you like growing plants like that it works too. I do bushes and single nug. When you do single nug you need way more plants but you can use smaller pots. Imagine 20 of those single cola buds in ur tent. No tiny buds and easy to trim. Theres more than one way to do it.

even "late" into flower it shouldn't be that yellow.
this plant was about 7 days from chop, and it ain't yellow at all.

that was in an organic soil mix, of my own creating, and was fed absolutely nothing but water, beginning to end.

Those look good. Autos fade at the end. They will be good smoke.

I wouldn't suggest topping autos but on certain strains it works. Those could've been topped but if you screw it up the plant is done. Next time try low stress training. It won't hurt autos. You tie them over for more tops.

Hell yea. Six inch square pots a foot deep. I could put 64 of them things in my 2x4x6 cab.

Now that I think about it, let me know how those smoke and I will buy the same

Some plants yellow and its is normal and no matter the feed they will yellow. Fall colors can be normal.

I said its not normal for a plant tat early to be that yellow.
I never, ever, said ALL plants are green till the end.
I said it wasn't normal for that plant, that he showed us, to be that yellow
can we agree on that?

here is a pic of a strain that does all sorts of colors at the end, I totally agree on that, I've been saying for yrs on this forum that MANY strains will slough off leaves, and yellow on their own, regardless.
but that's at THE END, cannabis, as we all know, is an annual plant
it dies at the end, that's normal.

Far from a disaster once you have smokeable bud at the end :) I only grew autos once a long time ago and didn't really care for the lack of control I had over the grow. I have saw plants look like yours for a few reasons, PH too acidic and lights too close..aswell as nitrogen deficiency and over watering, its really hard to know without a bigger picture..but well done on your grow :)

I use grow in veg, 4ml per litre max of biobizz and maybe 5ml if it needs it if shes a bushy girl. Then i drop down to 2.5ml for my final veg watering before flower. When i go into flower i drop the grow to 1ml and add 1ml of bloom and 1ml topmax. Then each consecutive watering i up the bloom and topmax by 1ml per litre and keep the grow at 1ml right through to last watering where i give it pure water before drying her out and chopping her. If your a beginner biobizz nutes may be easier to work with as there organic and forgiving if you overnute. I grew an auto before too, i prefer photos there easier to read in my opinion . But its all good learning stuff!

Sounds good.

Extending the use of high N will extend the veg times on autos.

There is a member here that got over 20 zips off an auto in hydro.

I run a little high on the N with autos.
