Also when i mentioned "it can lead to better quality " it sure want like I was saying everything else is garbage lol. If you read the whole paragrah the guy is cherry picking I go on to to clarify it.

Is anybody else laughing at the irony? The guy whose main form of communication appears to be "Bye felicia" (in caps, bolded, ending with multiple explanation points) is sarcastically commenting on the maturity of somebody else's post.

I love it. Also, this is why you don't post questions about HPS in a forum dedicated to LED lighting.

You did a side by side and have the lab tests to confirm this?

I for one can say I've grown with 400 mh 600 hps 1000 hps a couple diffrent DE hps blurple led white led and t5ho. I've done bare bulb vert, duct cooled overhead and even dual arc. So yeah I can say with confidence I've tried several different lighting techs.

Nope but Horti Chris is going to get lab tests this round. I grew the same cut for a while and I'm not mistaken when I noticed the difference myself. I'm not arguing that point at all. It's funny if you even mention that spectrum can have an effect on quality everyone gets all bent out of shape. Just look at how many old school guys add mh to supplement the hps spectrum. Why????? And yes there are hundreds of examples of this.

No one said spectrum can't have an effect, But what spectrum does your light provide that DE doesn't?

I would agree spectrum is important, but not as important as total output, just a FYI ppl add MH to add more UV, COBs have zero UV. Also I would like to say if you are growing in two separate areas with two different growers the outcome will be different.
