I have tried it. Its bullshit and goes against basic botany.

Pot growers do and repeat some dumb shit.

If it really increased yield, why is it not a standard practice in farming.

Yes, I'll cut suckers off my corn. Cannabis doesn't have suckers. You could consider under growth that is very small suckers and prune a little.

You are talking about fan leaves. That hurts yield. That's what drives the plant.

You go ahead and cut them. I'm looking for fans the size of dinner plates. You know big enough to cast a shade. Then I know there is big buds coming.
Great explanation WB and when I first started growing I tried my fair share of stoner techniques so like yourself I answer with experience and making mistakes in my actual grow ......lower portion of my plants are always nice and tidy with all the stressful training techniques done before the flip ......aside from maybe some gentle tying and of course and cleaning my girls yellow leafs when there done with them deep deep into flower/fade which takes no effort at all to remove a leaf that the plant is done with simply a touch and it will release

You want me to grow your plants for you to baby anaconda .....go ahead and play dumb cause your theory of plucking leaves during flower to fatten them up is complete BS and you got called on it ......do what you want to your plants and garden if you actually really grow ...but don't tell new growers how to do something when you obviously don't know why you even do it ....and don't believe everything you read

i know from repeated occurrences of hermies that doing anything stressful to your plant after it starts to flower is a bad idea. plants do not like stress during flower. do any lollipopping/defoliation you're going to do before you flip the plant, or you're going to be growing a lot of nanners

i see it like the enema bandit does, the big, fat, green fan leaves are doing way more work for the plant than those tiny little sugar leaves in the buds will ever do.. so if you cut off the big fan leaves in order to get more light to the smaller, less producing sugar leaves, you really are cutting off your fans despite your bud..
a simple analogy.. you've got a house with big old soar panels on the roof, but they're blocking the much smaller, less productive smaller panels you just installed lower down on the roof. you think, hmm, those big ole solar panels up at the top of the roof are now blocking this teeny tiny solar panels i just installed at the bottom of my roof, i think it'd be a good idea to remove the big ole panels so i can get more light to the newer, smaller panels, even though simply due to size and design, it'd take 10 or more of the smaller panels to make up for the electricity the bigger panels can make.. the leaves are the solar panels of the plant, they hang out in the sun, light, and convert light energy to sugars and starches the plant needs to sustain life via photosynthesis.. the bigger, greener, the leaves, the more chlorophyl is present, the more photosynthesis that happens in that leaf.. you can not deny this as it's simply botany, the very basics on how plants work..

Lol I missed this one .....so that's how a plant works Hugh genius ....I rest my case as far as baby anacondas gardening theories/tactics ...which are good for a laugh but bad for a garden imagine that .....perfect example of a reader not a gardener

that's what i always say when people call jorge cervantes a pro grower.. writing a book makes one an author, not a pro grower..

Somebody got mad just because he was proven to be a phony @BabyAndaconda420 ....and did you know calling people gay just shows what's on your mind the most ...so not only do I think your just a reader not a grower I also now know you have homosexual thoughts coursing through that little brain of yours ......and the only link between me and whiteboy is the fact that we actually grow and can pick out people who are full of BS trying to be cool answering noobs questions ....it just so happens we were both calling your bluff tonight ....it's really strange you keep bringing up gay/homosexual things it really shows what you like to think about IMO ......weird lol

Lets pretend leaves aren't responsible for food, temp regulation, or hormone production among others.
Ever hear of the inverse square law of light? Light intensity drops dramatically in a very short distance. If you take a leaf from the top of the plant to expose one thats a foot lower on the plant you just cut the intensity of the light in half. Ever heard the expression "stepping over dollars to pick up dimes? Real science not forum bullshit.

Ever seen the way the buds move and angle themselves so they get more light....... me neither.
