hey test. I ran that CTF in a 3 gallon bucket under my Mars II 700w LED. Those pics are right before I chopped her.......boiled 3 days prior......Took her to 65 days before she was boiled.
Dude the boiled thing makes me cringe!

Thanks for the follow up. Is that correct that you got 8dry nugs from a 3gal?

Noo not at all. what do you see as expensive?

200 could be inexpensive to me.
$1400 starfighter went for that price.

Now i'm asking you, whats wrong if a breeder chose to sell his seeds for expensive?
Nothing wrong with that, I'm a capitalist.
What's wrong is when people value that more than an equal for less. Kinda like a benz and honda. Status symbols.

Hey man.....the boil is where it's at bud :)

It was 5.88dry....I trim pretty heavy and took a zip of popcorn for the hash pile.....so if you add that in as well it's just under 7.

You could get more with a better light but I'm not complaining. A zip of CTF is better than 3 zips of the flavs of the month.

Dude i find that so extremely hard to believe and I love to talk shit but I'll give it a try. I've been getting really nice yields but i use way bigger pots. Gardening is a mysterious thing

What's your light?

I feel you man.....i know it sounds way out there but to be honest..... it was the search of what to do at the end of my first grow that lead me to find @RM3. To flush, to not flush, to use a finisher....etc. I didn't boil my first run...or even my second but I ran the same plants the third time and boiled to see i could tell a difference. There was a difference....I saw the same characteristics that RM3 talks about. Seeing the plant pull from the sources after the boil is awesome to watch as well kickstarting the fermentation process at the same time. Keeping the plants green til the end and happy is the key to getting the plant to grow to its full potential.

Give it a shot....if you like it....then you have some new things to play with......if not...... at least you gave it a shot and now have a justified reason to talk shit :bigjoint:

My light is a MarsII 700w (https://www.mars-hydro.com/LED-Grow-Light-Hydroponics-Greenhouses.aspx)....pulls about 345w from the wall.

Pot size will only do so much for you unless you give the plant enough time to fill it up with roots....healthy roots. What size pots are you running? Ive found any pot over 5 gallons inside, unless you are vegging for an extended amount of time, is more than enough. Ive actually been moving down a bit in size.....im running some in #1 and #2 pots and I like the #2's a lot so far.

I don't feel it is greedy at all IF they have been tested and worked on and you are buying through a distributor. It could take 10 years to make a masterpiece and have it all tested out. Half these assholes are just slappin herm pollin and charging those prices and that is wrong. Especially when you buy the seeds direct at high price.
Anybody that breeds any kind of plant goes through the same amount of work. Cannabis is the only crop seed that cost that much.

Dude come on. You can go buy any other crop that is worked just as hard as cannabis for a dollar a pack. Its greed.
Once you get the male and female you need, you can fill a room with cuts and make thousands of seeds.
I have never paid $10-20 a piece for any kind of vegetable or flower seed.
Why is cannabis so different?
ok? so there's no bills or overhead when running a store? everything is just free?

you guys are so funny.. everybody here acts like, producing non-hermie seeds by the thousands is easy as abc.....
i could of swore shorelineog didnt have enough freebies for sourpatch...

like i said before,,,,, now if i was to make some seeds. it better equal my cost or more as i would run flower, or making seeds just wont be worth my time.

I'm a novice in the growing world. My growing will begin in the fall. With that being said I don't look at the price of the beans. The most I paid for a pack was $250 why because I seen Gen doing his thing with some GGG. I bought some top dawg 4 packs for 800 plus why because I seen Big John pinhead and a few others kicks ass with his gear. But at the end of the day we paying for quality. So either when spending that type of money you'll get super high or make some crazy loot selling whatever you're selling so price of packs shouldn't matter. Let's enjoy these fire strains and get this money. I don't care what the breeder makes or the banks because at the end of the day when I'm done growing I'll make mine also. Bless up and grow dank!!

I'm not arguing that.

Just wait. When it goes legal you will be able to.buys seeds for a couple dollars a pack. Go to the feed store and buy a pound of seeds for a couple bucks.

Guess what. I bought a few pounds of corn and bean seeds for ten bucks. Guess what. They all performed well and looked uniform.

Lol. Guys like you crack me up. Why is that pot seeds are the only ones that cost that much?

Sour Patch has no overhead because he ran his seed bank out of his car, overcharged and didn't pay breeders. When seeds go to an auction site the price is set by customers. Also most banks do things on consignment, so if a bank wants to purchase them upfront the breeder accepts a little less. I think if one strain always sells out first then raise the price some. The UK banks replace lots of orders that get intercepted by customs and that gets factored into the price.
