Those cobs look cool as he'll man. Compleatly diffrent angle you are aproaching LED than myself. I went down the MARS HYDRO 300 X2 for a 1 plant scrogg. I have seen some good results with LED and can't wait for the technology to get better.

ok here is another big misconception with the whole Hieght of the grow light about the canopy.. We'll have you ever heard of something called inverse Square Law? Google it. And throw those purple and pink LEDs away they do not work. Simple as this.. Run your LEDS close as possible like 2-5 inches from top of canopy, but the trick is PWM DIMMING so drop Down dim down is the answer. .. So off 1 2x4 grow tray and 22'' from bottom of tray to top of the LEDs is all we need to pull at least 1- 1-1/2 Lbs on your first run.. #SOG is the wAY TO BE..View attachment 3726319
might want to read what I wrote. I'm not promoting blurple and never would. Your just to happy to hop on your .1 watt led experiment. Slow down and lose the attitude.

Not new. We have been around for 5 years. We have just been in the R&D phase forever.
Instead of referring us to your website/sales pitch , do u have any documented grows with your lights/plants.

I would assume you would have allot of photos and data of all the different "test grows" while testing your lights in your R&D phase.....

Hahah I just get super excited when talking about LEDS and the vertical game
I've talked to your sales guy a few times over the past 2 years. Back when you rocked the NorCal spectrum.
You guys were almost my first led.
Are you still selling the long light with the stand? Perfect side-light.
I used to post your company on the thread "LED companies with links".
Good luck!

Lol! Looks like they got him! He got his quick add in though!
I followed that company for awhile. They had deals on there last models & I almost got one. They were milli-diodes in an HPS hood design & a long 225 watt light too. Their approach is similiar to Fluence Bio. I liked their old spectrum better. Now it's just a plain k-temp white whereas before it was enhanced w/ red & had a veg switch.
I like the idea of the milli-diodes dropped low to the canopy. Just like Fluence, it allows you to have an even PPFD under the entire light. Great for SOGs or Scrogs w/ low riding wide plants. Although, the pictures showed the light reaching down pretty far. I think that's because with that style light, their is allot less drop to the light density levels under the canopy. Similiar to the test we saw from SpectrumKing when the tested for the drop on the Illumitex. Very little. The condensed light & large fixture is great I think. But they're very expensive & do not offer much for deals or sales last I knew.
Almost the same as the Next-light Mega which is an advertiser here. Bet they weren't happy to see Smart-Grow here.

He's gone now. He should've played by the rules. Shows you how well his customer service is lol. He actually got banned from here for advertising. I've seen it happen before remember I've been on here since July 19,2010

Let us test out yo' sh¡¡¡¡¡!!!!!!t.
Who? "SmartGTL"?
He was what us Aussies call a " FOSC"
A Full of Shit C$&% !!!!!!!

He deserved to be banned.
He didn't accidentally throw his brand around.
If he did that. I'm sure RiU would have preferred to take his money than ban him.
He had less than ten msgs and all of them sounded like a sales pitch.

His website had almost zero information about the actual lighting on the panels.

Highly likely, full blown conman.

Research and development for 5 Years.
Hahahahaha
In his garage playing with torches maybe.
:joint::bigjoint::joint:

I'm all about peace :peace:
But he was a tosser.

I know this company. That, I highly doubt was the owner. Maybe but I doubt it. I've spoken w/ their sales guy before. He asked me allot of questions about what I'd like to see in the new panels. But prior to that they had some cool lights from what I saw. Using mini/milli/diodes. I thought they were cool & I saw videos where they grew against different types of light & grew mega big plants using their other light to as side-lighting.
Also seen them in growing magazines.
I saw them 2 years ago almost.

Got two Johnson Maximizers (lol) on the way. I know they will kick ass from mid veg to harvest but am wondering if I should look into a light to cover the seedling and early veg stages. Will I be good with the 3500k cxb3590 cobs or will I want another alternative for those stages??

The 3500k CCT is used throughout the community for veg with get reaults. I personally use 4x4000k 3070's but it's up to you.
