Here we go got a pic with the light off, much easier to see. I'm used my phone to take all my pics on this grow.

No straggly or wispy growth under the canopy

Its hard to show off how frosty they are, my phone pics arent doing these pretty nugs any justice

One gallon nug

Coke cans are cute but i prefer my 5 Gallon buckets for comparison.

I have had or used many lights cmh, gavita, de, hps/mh, plasma, induction, old leds, and nothing comes close to this light!

This was my first run using these strains that i picked up at random on craiglist. I cant wait to see the final tally on this grow using only 500w! the mango nugs are soild.

At what point do you remove all under growth leaves and branches to lollipop? You did a good job.
I wait til the plants stop getting taller in early flower. Ive found if i trim a plant down low it gets taller, If i top one it gets wider, and bottom branches strecth up. But If i wait til the buds stop getting taller, then trim the lowers, it will blow up the buds. After stretch i suppose would be the short answer.

Ive been super busy and super blazed on this stanky batch, I will update my post soon. Johnson Grow Lights are awesome!!!!

Johnson Grow Lights CX-9 500w draw at the wall 4x4 area yielded 974.3 grams its first run with unknown craiglist genetics. Damn near 2 Grams per watt and it was easy!

Almost 700g of that was mango the 2 plants in the rear of the tent taking up 2x4 at 250w thats 50g shy of 3 grams per watt. I expect to get 3 grams per watt on future grows in the same conditions with better genetics, still without hydro or running co2.

I will never touch any HID light again Cob/LES lighting is the future of grow lighting. Mark my words, make a note, take a friggin picture, there is no doubt.

I had an LEC i like the sectrum but its just not enough there i Would need 2 lec's over the same 4x4 space to compare to this CX-9. I sold the lec to a guy up the street, the bulbs are expensive!

all I have in the 4x4 is a 4in duct fan and its 71 in the house, if i run the fan full time its only 73 in the tent. So im having to keep heat in, instead of moving as much air as possible fighting with hps. If i had a 600w hps in there the 4in fan would have the tent above 86. I love my new light!
So you prefer the lec over the Cx then. So with the Cx less equipment?

Very impressive! With your results so amazing, are you considering the Maximizer from Johnson? I ask, because I'm about to pull the trigger on a few to get rid of my nanolux DE's. I can't imagine you getting much better results that what you got with this 500w model. Honestly, it was the air cooled reflector that turned me on to it, but your grow has me thinking otherwise.
