Question one: will it increase yeild with my hps light(400 watt).

Question two: if so where should I use it for best results (ex. Above ,beside,in the middle.)

I'm going to take a swing at it:

Answer to question 1: Assuming everything else is puuuurrrrrfect then probably. and not by much.
Answer to question 2: hanging it down the middle would make the most sense; more area covered by the light

Honestly I already knew all the answers I wanna know preferences . I'm putting two more of these CFLs with my flower room soon. Just wanting to know if it's honestly worth it ,I know most plants people scrog and stuff and I'm just topping got 4 stems coming up about 4 inches of the plant, got it in ffof, inside 5 gallon smart pots, mixed with 25% perlite. Feeding cal-mag,fox farm nutrients, with a root booster. 850 ppm on 5 week veg plant. Knowing more facts will there be any type of improvement t on yield, even if it's 5-6 grams

Should have gotten an LED. Your buds would come out much denser and frostier when combined with an hps. CFL's are all but useless in the flower stage. I'm only going by my experience.
