it only gets worse from here!, now you wait for those hairs...then you see those buds form..such a long wait. Then you see those fat buds there everyday and you just want to reap what you sow. THEN you gotta dry and cure...it's all such a tease. women... haha.

Both plants look the same today, trimmed some fans off of the pineapple so it's pissed. Both plants have a nice color now. I see what I believe to be the start of a pistil on the bagseed. Only more time will tell. Also April 23 will mark one month for the bagseed since sprout. And the 25th will be one month for the pineapple express. Such an amazing feeling. Also I dried some of the pineapples fan leaves and crushed them this Morning, I got the most wonderful sweet berry scent from these leaves. My good friend said the same about them. The bagseed smells like some funky skunk nothing special.

Bagseed definetly has some preflower starting it's in the correct spot extremely small, looks like the smaller leaf the pistils come out of. But it is so small. Could be a male preflower from all I can tell. Hopefully more growth tomorrow guys.very nervous. I will try to get a picture but it's very hard because it is so small.

First photo is bagseed, it's the darker spot that is pointy in between the nod and stipule. The second photo is the pineapple she also has a couple. They are much more visible. Again I apologize for my dirty mechanic hands..

Still too early to be sure but the last pic you posted here is looking male to me but I could be wrong. Males Almost ALWAYS show first. So the longer the wait, the better for you.

yeah i agree with airwalker. That bagseed looks like a male, but i'd hold off and make sure. The males always have a little stem on their little sack.

Oh shit son I didn't even notice the preflower on this pic.

You've got yourself a He Man right there. That is 100% a Male plant, bro.
Man...
I hate to be the barer of bad news, but time to pop some new seeds.
This is why I buy fem seeds. Wasted time.

I lost 2 out of 5 plants because my "feminized" seeds turned out 2 males....
I feel your pain.

Don't pull it for another few days, until you are 100% sure it is a male.

Gotta get a better photo of the ones on the bagseed, definetly see some pointy preflower that look to be female. Just gonna wait a few days. I would be kinda happy to have one big pineapple express growing :)

Wow, that escalated quickly. I'm going to say let's wait a few days before my hopes and dreams are shattered lol. Who has some freebies for this broke guy ;).

Photo of bagseed preflowers Again, bbagseed photo was not so great. all of what I see look like this. And I am certain that this is what your calyx looks like before it shoots pistils.

Heh, takes me back! Was so worried about finding out their sex on my first go...got lucky with my mystery gifted seeds, they must have been feminized because all 10 I sprouted so far all turned out fems.

Give them a good little while and keep watching them. Male flowers develop faster as a they need to pollinate females early so the seeds can develop (ie not 8 weeks into flowering). But you'll have plenty of time to clearly identify a male before it pollinate, especially since you are checking them every day :)
And if you do have a male maybe consider letting them mate...?
With a male+fem you could make a seed crop and have a lot beans to play with. I also read this helps as seeds made in your garden will be "better suited" for it, and it makes sense though I haven't tried it yet.

But if you are dead set on just growing females or don't have any, I can look into the feasibility of sending you some :)

Cheers!
