While out looking at a potential new spot I stumbled upon someone else's.

there are o reasons to be on my land ,I own the road I plow I grade theres a gate with my phone # on it.cant get down the road unless I let u,its funny I don't even grow on my land, but have had things grow legs.if I confront someone on my land, there will be a firearm ready to go.1 less crack head ripper who cares:bigjoint:
That's fine and I agree with that.

I don't agree with traps. There is no way you can garuntee an innocent person not get hurt.

You have power lines? Power meter? Water line? Water meter?

I get it. I conceal carry. I'm always armed.

I never set traps nor would I ever. I do however string somne thread in stratgic areas to see if there has been any traffic. I'm just a little upset that this spot is already taken. It not easy to get to and is hidden fairly well. As growers we think allot alike. Any random person hiking, walking, etc would probably not think twice to go in certain areas but most of us seek them.

I've known a spot thats still being used today that I stumbled across 25+ years ago when I was "running away" and going to build a tree fort . These were the days where there were no video games and our pedal bike was our best friend. Being outside in the outdoors was freedom, both mind and body. I admit ,,back then I grabbed a few leaves and branches and stuffed my pockets. I didn't know what "buds" were ,I wasn't even a teenager yet. But I did know what it was and what it looked like for the most part. Well long story short the tree fort never got built and i was getting hungry so pedaled my lil ass home with my pockets full of gold !! Well I forgot about my green "gold" and momma collected my dirt incrusted clothes and started the wash. Sometime after dinner she asked me to take a look in the washing machine. So I did as she said,, and to my surprise (not) I see a sea of floating leaves. "What's that stuff ,how did that get there" I asked with mom over my shoulder.. Well mom obviously knew better and she asked "is this yours !? are you growing it !!? " "No mam". "Than why do you have it !!?? If it's not yours don't touch it , put it back where you found it." ! So I went back the next day and placed the crumpled up pocket linted leaves next to the plant I took it from. If that grower decided to set booby traps I would have surely set them off and who knows what would have/could have happened. I could only imagine what the grower thought when he went to check on his plants and seen crumbled up leaves with candy, pocket lint and bubble gum wrappers mixed in.

I stumbled across some holes and some chicken wire twice this year on accident. Once out fishing for trout and once out scouting for the Oct planting (im aussie.) One was old and the other was very fresh. Getting hurt by accident by a booby trap would not make my day, or theirs when I found out who planted it.

If we plant outdoors on public land then we expect to lose some, just like we expect to have some males, some not to germinate and some to die for a variety of reasons and some seasons to be written off due to extreme weather or other things out of our control.

We can only take so many safety steps and the main one is dont plant em all in one plot. (we all know this).

Answer to the OP's question, leave it alone and pretend you didnt see it. Just because you stumbled on it doesnt mean anyone else will.

We are not talking about a rose bush. And like I said iam not going to set there and watch a person cut my work down.the first cut is boom and that's just how it is here.ky
No. You're not killing anyone over marijuana sorry. If you even consider it then please get a vasectomy. We don't need your archaic genetics in the gene pool anymore. Time to evolve with the rest of us.

And people wonder why this plant is still illegal. Maybe stop threatening people with death? Shit if it was legal in my state I'd be setting up tables at farmers markets and giving away clones for free,

Grow up. Your plant isn't worth someones life.

Theres not much to them i would rather eat these that i can catch up to a few dozen at a time in one trip in my waters per person
these pics are mine these waters are minutes away from me ....

I do that to. I put three threads on each trail at different distances apart. One broke could be an animal. If all three are tripped I may not even go back.

True. But, what if some new grow is crowding your territory? I say let them know to get lost..

So its not legal where you grow? And I could say the same about you but I wount.Do you mind if I stell what you have? Why not give your buds away? That would be beter then giving clones away my good man? What are you going to do when that thief gets cought with half your plants and gets cought selling your pot that he stold AND tells the FEDS who and where they stold it at? that way he can go free.

I took a hike today to a spot I have been eyeing up and it seems someone else has the same location in mind. A few holes were dug, some soil, shovel etc under camo tarp . I'm an honest dude so I left everything as they were. Will I go back during harvest season? Nope ,, I believe in karma so if I'm not messing with someones else's crop I would hope someone won't mess with mine. But I know better.

Should I have left them a note ? "Hey man ,I found your spot, I won't mess with it I promise,, grow on! ". Lol.. Seriously I wouldn't,,,, or should I just go back and kick things around so they know said spot has-been compromised.
This is very common where I live. If you grow in the woods and don't find others spots your likely not In a good area. We talk to our neighbors and everyone respects everyone. Great minds think a like. So my answer is keep on keeping on like it never happened. Don't go back unless you want an issue. You have nothing to gain from a note. If someone else steals it your going to be blamed. Who knows what kind of person is behind those plants. Get used to finding this kind of thing if you want to have many years in guerrila growing

If your grow is near someone else's than maybe it would be prudent to find a more secure spot.
