These are two days old from me placing the seed into co-co jiffys are they doing well can i ask.....?

Also i found about 5 or 6 of these little bugs as shown on a lid of a propagator think they might be some sort of fly insect as ive noticed a couple in the room maybe brought in by the coco maybe ? Does anyone know what they are crap photo i know bit worth a shot they dont look like spider mites or either normal mites not sure what they are help please ha ha

moving air might help. will be good for your seedlings too.

i try to keep roots out of the light so that they dont get damaged. maybe a perlite bed or just put plugs into solo cups

Hey man plants look good so far. What kind of lights are you using? Can you get them a little closer? It'll help control your stretch a little bit so you don't end up with lanky plants. As far as the bugs go it sounds like gnats and you should be able to get rid of em with moving are like fuzzyjay said. I do believe they are also attracted to wet soil. They lay their eggs in mud and stuff on the edges of rivers and streams and such. Stoked to watch your grow!

Im using a cfl 200w bulb temperature taken at the top of the pots is 22c probablt put em abit closer as they seemed ok with seven inches lastnight

You could keep that light pretty close (3-4 inches) and you shouldn't have any problems. The only thing I could see posing an issue is maybe overall coverage for all of your plants. If you add a fan and keep it on low and not pointed directly at your seedlings you can get that light that close without temp issues and it would help with those dang gnats too haha.
Also just wanna throw out there that you should do you it is your grow in the long run.
Hope I'm being somewhat helpful haha

Gonna get some of this tomorrow im sure a feeding of two should warn off any laid eggs

Hope the fan helps. Ive never used anything like that but just as a precaution start small on your dose. You can always add more but you can't take that back out. Seedlings can be very sensitive so just be very careful. Im sure it can't hurt but better safe than sorry

i tried this test on gnats. Sticky yellow vs half finished coffee. left it over night.

The next morning there was 1 gnat stuck on the yellow stuff and almost all the gnats ended up in the coffee.

Gonna get some of this tomorrow im sure a feeding of two should warn off any laid eggs
