Feeding seedling GH flora series

hey, i trying to follow theese instructions "Flora Series Simple (Recirculating & DTW)"
on the official GH website http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/resources/feeding_schedule/

there is the first week (seedling)

but my question is what is a seedling when i can say i have a seedling it has now 4 tiny leaves looks something like this :

so my question is that a seedling on this picture and can i start using the GH series as recommended. to hit the first 300-500 ppm



also i see the 2 week is like 900 - 1100 ppm is that not a bit high ? i dont have any experience in dwc

That is indeed a seedling. Start your EC/PPM at HALF what is suggested. May we assume you have an EC/PPM meter since you are giving numbers? And 900-1100 PPM will kill your seedling.

well, i have a ph meter but the ppm meter has still not arrived yet i think it will take some more time however they write for the first seedling week 2,5ml per gallon so i will simply just cut the dosage to lets say 1,2ml per gallon and i should be with a low ppm and the next week i will go with 2,5ml

I suggest mixing at 1/4 strength of the label recommendations. You can always adjust up. If the plant shows any deficiency before - and it won't - then you can address that.

Heck no. They will lollygag along. I use an EC meter to gradually raise my feeds from around .5 to .6 to start - 250-300 PPM converted.Then I water twice with tap water and raise the EC to1.0 or around there.Or a PPM of 500. I use Gen Hydro nutes. Just the basics. I don't use all the fancy crap but whatever. Look at the EC/PPM ONLY on this chart. Note the gradual increase. Then note the decrease in EC at Week 5 and a further decrease at Week 6 as you transition from veg to flower.

However I have never used a feed with an EC over 2.5 starting with RO water at 0.4EC. Pot simply does NOT need super nutes or you are back on here with pics of burned plants.

Also note the very weak EC feeds the last weeks and keep that in mind. Flushing in soil is a fool's errand and many here are qualified for the task.

How are the plants?

The site was buggy there for a few days. That's why you ended up with 7 threads titled the same.

Give us an update. Does it still have rust spots?

Don't let my remark from that one thread and a couple days with site glitches turn you off.

The site is fine now. Update and we can help you get it figured out.
