so say I was thinking of grabing some karma og which comes in reg packs if I find decent enough pheno female and cross it with a strong male from the pack and then make a selection out of those seeds you think the chances of winning the lottery went up or do I have a lotta bs to look forward too
My take on this is, there might be some straight fire in there and karmas gear has proven itself many times so I would think the chances of finding your own special one would be decent depending on how picky you are. The people that I know winning cups are using either clone onlys or they are growing out hundreds of these seeds and selecting that one special something.
My favorite Kandy kush is very skunky, grows in a totem pole, and it taste piney and very OG! If you like the skunky-og smell, you will def like this one! I like it because it is has the most odor that I have came across.
And once you find that special one cross it with the father you started with hopefully giving more special ones lol it'd be nice to imbreed your own strain

I think that you could grab a single Fem seed of Kandy. Last time that I got a pack, 4 of 6 were very similar, keepers!

ive found only 1 true strain that fully resembled its cup winning profile, that being sweet tooth #3 from 2001, quick mature heavily budded very potent and goodlookin, its cured buds were exactly the same as pictured in the high times mags pics for that years cannabis cup winners, it also made for an excellent breeding stud, there was much dismay in the camp when spice of life discontinued that strain
The GDP that I had made me grumpy and shit. I felt like a bear getting ready for hibernation, all hungry and sleepy... I really dont smoke much purp for that reason. Personal preference. It was purp and potent

That hibernation is what I'm looking for, helps treat my insomnia I heard good things from ken Estes in past readings but of late I've heard he got raided or lost most of his gdp stock not sure if it's true but I'd love to pull trigger on a pack of gdp but 125 a pack need to know that might get a least something worth keeping or seeding
ive still got some crosses from that original ST#3 from 2001 but also another point of view is there are many as good if not better strains available today, just read what the experienced growers here on RIU keep on growing & banks like bodhi - sincity - rare dankness - dynasty - exotic genetics etc are always at the cutting edge of weed evolution, if you get beans from those banks your assured of having topshelf gear at the end of the day
