MY RESERVOIR WENT DRY-anyone with this experience?

I have a few different strains I have growing atm.
Here is a quick breakdown of what I've had going on:

DWC 5 Gal drip buckets dripping 24/7 in 6" pots with hydroton.
Currently in week 3 of flower.
Temps: 75*F during lights on / 70*F during lights off.
RH: lights on 50% / Lights off climbs to 80% at times
PPM: 650-670
PH: 6.0
Reservoir water temps: 71*F


My problem:
As you can probably gather, I was having RH issues when my lights were going off. I added a new dehumidifier which is approx 11,000 btu portable AC/dehumid unit in one. Long story short, I brought my RH down too hard too quick about 5 days ago and came into a room with NO BUBBLING/GURGLING NOISE because most of my reservoirs had went completely dry! I quickly topped everything off with new water ph'd to 6.0 along with some H202 to help out a bit.
The only buckets that went *totally* dry are (4) of my Kosher Kush and (1) of my White Widow. The WW is definately the worst of them all. The leaves on the top colas of the WW are curled and browned out. After a few days of water the bud swell has come to a virtual hault and leaves are getting crispy and curled up (as can be seen in the pics labeled WW). It has also virtually quit taking up water but the buds themselves look great. The KK have done better but the leaves are damaged (as can be seen in pics labeled KK) and bud swell has continued seemingly normal. All 4 KK are taking up nutes like normal again.

Are they done for?
Should I pull it to make more room for the other 9 or run it and see what I get?
Do I have to worry about hermies?

Yikes, you hammered them hard, but they'll still give you a crop. How big depends on how much of the root ball survived in each case.

You definitely need a bigger res. I didn't take any chances;

Im not sure exactly how long they were dry for, but I do know it wasnt more than 12 hrs. The root balls on all 5 affected buckets look great still. They didnt brown out or have a "cooked" smell when they went dry nor have I noticed any broken down root material in the buckets since then. I was just shocked at how fast my new dehumidifier got the RH down and jacked the temps up. It went from 70% to 34% RH and 70*F to 91*F in a short period. After 5 days, the smell of dried leaves is going away and the smell of flowers welcomes me again when I walk in the room. I'm hoping none of them try to hermie on me if they even make it. The res size has always done well for me, except in this instance when I used a new dehumidifier that was way to strong for the room size. Lesson learned - this will not happen again.

The problem with a res with only a tiny amount of water is the feed gets real concentrated. I checked on my plants last night and there was an inch or two left and it was like 1.4EC

It was 1.0EC the day before. If i let it go further it would continue to rise.

Up until this point the plant had been dropping feed.

Exactly. Between being forced to drink concentrated nute solution and the buckets going dry real soon after, they got real ruffed up real quick. Do you think they will pull through another 4-1/2 wks? Im feeling better about the KK, but the WW has me pretty bummed out.

Should be. Keep.an eye out for dead leaves so they dont mold.

Keep RH around 50-60

What do your roots like like?

Still clean/white and fresh. They never browned out or broke down. Still smell fresh too. I can snap a pic & post it when the lights come on in a bit.

Should I be cutting off all the burned up leaves on the colas or leave em? I guess you could say that fortunately, I have zero experience with this issue.
