i tested rock wool parts a n b, BC nutes, plant life, fox farm, advanced,GH, botanicare, just to name a few if it was big in the 90's or early 2000's chances are i tested it...the rock wool is total crap, BC nutes wer ok but not really made for american tap water,, once i got the ph wright it worked well, most 3 part nutes are good but u have to dial in the mix to suit the strain ur growing,, general hydroponics nova and maxi are both simple to use, 1 part fr grow, 1 part for flower, idiot proof just follow directions at lower dosage recomendation,,and yields are top quality, i had good results with fox farm, but dynagrow had some problems, botanicare works well but high priced, advanced well,,im not a fan..i feel its missing somthing,, yields wer good but yellowing,sptted leaves, golden and curled leaf tips wer a big problem...

When using fox farm big bloom how much tbl spoon per plant per feeding and how often?

if your growing in soil, indoors or out...DR Earth ! this stuff has everything you need to feed the soil..(.or potting mix), your soil will ever need, great stuff.

i was so worried about general hydroponics after finding out they wer bought by scotts..and tho i hate giving money to scotts, i called about gh nutrients and was told they WILL NOT CHANGE!!! i just bought a few bags of maxi and bottles of nova and everything is the same so far...i still hate giving money to scotts but after years of testing nutes,, i plan to stick with GH unless it changes..

I met the guy who owns the website. Went to his warehouse. He sold me a ton of awesome equipment for cheap. Great guy.

I would do business with him again for sure.

Haven't used the nutes he sells because I use maxsea, lol

From what I've gotten to use so far, Earth juice does the trick but the bloom formula is very acidic, drops ph to like 4.5 at even 1 tsp per gallon. Dyna gro foliage pro is good stuff, i bought some for my mom for her indoor plants and they basically exploded in her sun room.

To the op, if you want reasonably priced nutrients look for powdered nutrients. Youll pay less for water weight. Max sea is one killer food, the grow 16-16-16 plus a well amended soil will take you almost all the way to finnish. I like to lower nitrogen at the very end just cause, and calmag, but the max sea is a good organic kelp base food that will give you like around 2000 gallons or something rediculous for 130 or so bucks a bucket. One part, simple. Flying skull is another good value, and those nutrients kill it round these parts.

The above poster was sorta on the right course minus piss. A well brewed tea can be made from all sorts of house compost, banana peels, animal foods, sugars, quanos, a heap from your worm bin full of leaves, compost, and lots of castings, theres tea recipies all over for just about anything you could compost but id just bust out a couple and run a simple base nute regiment and calmag until you figure out a system.

You've suggested he use cal mag without him first knowing what calcium levels are in his water. That's potentially wasteful.

On the topic of urine: I'm sure you can cite scientific evidence that the nutrients in urine are beneficial to all plants BUT cannabis. Right?

Man i told you not to argue piss with me...and what do you do? Your obviosly a complete moron, noob, shitty grower, but id guess all three. Urea is a main component in lots of fertilizers but its processed. Its not in the form of your piss dumb ass. Its dehydrated if its still in its natural form in plant food. People dont piss on their plants for a reason. Its gross. Its fucking nasty. I mean in the appocolypse do whatever the fuck you want to stay alive, but id kick someones ass if i smoked their piss fertilized weed. Its an unstable blend of potentially harmful and un measured fertilizer. And did i mention its disgusting? Dumb ass.

And as for calcium, and magnesium...i did say cal mag and not just calcium. Unless hes running a well over a calmag deposit hes going to need to supplement. Both calcium and mag are almost macro nute status and 98% of guys i know run it, the others ammend, kinda like how you run your mouth. Pppffff, calcium levels in water, everyone i know runs 100-200 ppm cal mag and even if your base ppm from the tap is 200....how much of that is calcium? Are you gonna go to a lab and pay to get it tested? Nope, just add calmag, and no piss. I bet your grow room of two plants smells real good after you piss in the plants huh? Nasty.

Ya figure that spraying for PM and bugs that arent even there yet as a preventitive is wasteful too? How about a green house? Wasteful? You dont know if youd get bud rot from the rain but you still spent all those thousands on it right? Wasteful!!!

Would extra cal mag cause a deficiency? If so how can i check my tap for calcium and mag?
