file with the Commission too....It can't hurt. more complaints in the department or to it! the Commissioner filing will only make HC look bad but the LLB action will get you the $$.
i filed both just to be a pain

What is LLB?
they just have private banks write blank cheque's that they then can charge interest and tax..

i checked to see if the wife and I are registered and we are...I guess that's what i filed before

The certification was granted. This means that we are permitted to proceed as a class action and the class members include all people who were sent a letter form Health Canada in November 2013 that had the phrase “Marihuana Medical Access Program” or “Programme d’acces a la marihuana a des fins medicales” visible on the front of the envelope. If you were sent this letter, you are a member of the class. You do not need to have the envelope, as Health Canada has a list of all the people they sent the letter to and this information will be used to send out “notice” to class members when the time comes.
You should keep any documents, receipts, etc. that you have related to the privacy breach and the impact it had on your life. If this case settles or we are awarded a sum by the court you may be required to provide this information to us or the court. As it is too early to discuss settlement / resolution I am not able to tell you when or why this information may be required. There is also a chance that this information may not be required, depending on the outcome of this case.
