Incredible Bulk & Strawberry Blue

Whats up everybody,

Here are my Gals I have two Incredible Bulk going one in Roots organic original soil and One DWC. I also got a freebie from herbies feminized strawberry blue. This my first DWC and i wanted to see what all the hype is about lol. I am using a 600W MH for Veg and a 600w HPS for flower. So far they are 21 days from seed. I actually transplanted my INC BULK from soil to DWC kinda of stunted her for a little but has really blown past my soil INC BULK.

DWC INC BULK:
Aqua Flakes A&B nothing else keeping the ph between 5.5 and 6.1 she holds about 3 Gal of water and im up to 16ML of A and also B. Love aqua flakes far. I am using the 1/3 method on the side for topping off purposes. My water temp is about 71 degrees. I had trouble in the beginning but only because i was under feeding.

Strawberry Blue and INC BULK in Roots original organic soil:
I am using Biobizz organic products for these ladies. Just a simple Grow/Bloom/Top Max trifecta. Worked out great for me last time around. I have only given them very small doses of grow so far because the soil has enough food for about 4 weeks.

So far... I cant believe the difference in size of my dwc it was a little runt and my soil grows were on their 4th node in less then two weeks my hydro has really shown off in comparison. Ill keep you all posted let me know what you think.

Dwc is INC BULK
Left Soil pot is INC BUL
Top Right soil pot is Strawberry Blue

Looking good bro just make sure you keep the temps under control in the dwc and she will be a winner but also note now that she has recovered from that transplant her growth rate is going to dominate everything and she will take over that tent so keep this in mind.

I am doing a 100% perlite grow at the moment and it left my coco girls for dust it took over the tent and the others got no light you are going to love hydros nothing beats faster growth just remember to change out your water at least every 2 weeks also a good thing is to flush her inbeween change overs just fill your change over bucket with fresh water soak her in that for a good hour to clean out the root system in that time clean your other bucket and do your mix set your levels check they haven't change then she's good to go taking extra steps will help with having a rewarding havest but the good thing about dwc is you can in a way be a lazy grower and just do top ups seen it done and they still do well but the guys who take the time do better also once the bucket is filled with roots she's a lot harder to pull out and do a change over and with donkey colas makes it almost impossible so that's why most don't do full change overs in flower anyway I'll stop talking shit and pull up a chair for the show all the best

Thanks dirty you brought up some good points that ive actually been curious about. How do you suggest changing the water out when you have shit ton of colas swinging around lol? What else would you recommend besides topping. I want to LST but not sure how to go about it since i have to remove the top of the bucket and i change the water once a week. How do i tie stems down in that case? Super cropping? I want to knock this baby out of the park so please keep talking shit lol

Hey bro if you put in the training at the start and build up a fat base stem it should be able to support the the colas another thing you can do is boost the DWC the same size as itself
it's a two man job so lets say you have it boosted you just move the tub/bucket under it drop the bottom out and then pull the next one up its a real pain in the ass also keep this in mind once your bucket is full of roots and it will be full! you can't fill the level of water the same so half fill it then top up what ever you need saves water going everywhere once you pull the fresh bucket up everything comes with its PRO/CON but once you get things dialed in you will be a happy man

Another thing you can do is if the colas are to big and yoyo are holding up the buds you will just need to empty from the bottom and then flushed it out a bit then add your mix its the only way it's not the best but it will still do the job if you are doing this once you add the mix check the level of the EC/PPM in the bucket make sure there is no salt build up on the bucket

Also when it comes to LST in DWC you can just add some screws around the outside lid and tie it back to that works great LST is good because its low stress training where your super cropping is hard on the plant don't get me wrong i like to super crop it builds strong stems i had to do it this time on almost the whole plant as i vegged my girl for to long and needed the half her size and stunt her so she didn't stretch much in flower it worked out well if you need any help and if i have the info feel free to pick my brain all the best i am sure you will kick ass bongsmilie

Quick update. Last day of veg which i actually went way longer then i wanted to in my dwc just because i wanted my two in soil to be decent. I have feeling the dwc is going to get wayyy to big any help on keep her down in size would be awesome. Also i noticed on a couple of my lower leaves ive got a few spots of yellowing. Here is a couple pics tell em what you think the spotting kind of looks like ph fluctuation to me.

week two of flowering. For my dwc im up to 30 ML of aqua flakes A and B that is all im using and i couldnt be happier but honestly i wouldnt know any different its all ive ever used but id recommend this stuff to any noob like myself its so simple two products mixed 15 mins apart. No calmag no nothing extra. Water temp is right around 70 degrees my roots are beautifully white and the root ball is about the size of a soccer ball! My main stem is easily two or three times larger then my soil comparison. You can see in the picture its almost as wide as a door matt. As for my two soil projects they are doing good im using 3ML per L of biobizz bloom and 1ML per L of Top Max. Each of them getting about 2ml of water. The strawberry blue is growing exceptionally well ive come across a bunch of people that had trouble growing this plant. It Was a little slow at first but im proud of her now. Im a huge fan of ROOTS organic original soil i really am i use absolutely no nutes for the first 3-4 weeks and every plant ive ever had has flourished in it. Ph for soil is 6.5 and my dwc i keep between 5.5 and 6.1. Im a little worried about how much taller my hydro will grow but i guess its a good bad problem lol. Feel free to chime in! Any and all feedback is always appreciated.

It won't pop until you switch it to 12/12 or disturb it. I wouldn't put it in my grow tent either though.
Check out that link, it has some good info and pics.

if it was me I would wait till I saw more balls form as it could simply be the forming of a brach which is normal, I breed so I grow a lot of males, there is nothing to worry about till the balls swell

I'd trust the breeder. I only buy fem seeds and have a few regs when I get to that level.

I hope i dont eat my own words but looks like it may actually have some white pistils coming out. Im going to give it a little longer but not much longer id rather play it safe regardless so if he/she doesnt give me something solid to go by then im going to trash it. Keeping my fingers crossed.
