Been doing a little research on auto flowering seeds and have decided that's what I'll be growing next. Anyone out there with experience have any recommendations? I'm growing with 1 400w hps
What auto flower strain should I grow?

I've tried a few strains. Nothing comes out as good as the lowryder #1 has.
Other strains are more unpredictable to me and may not come out with good structure. The lowryders usually come out like little indica Christmas trees. Best smoke of the 3 auto strains I've done, too.
I've done heavyweight massive midgets, and they're too small.
did cash crop too and they were huge, but lanky.
I get the lowryders from vision btw. 4 under 400w I do.
A bad auto strain can be frustrating to work with.

Appreciate the input! I'm surprised Ya got 4 under a 400w! I thought for sure I would have to up my light game. I was doing a little research on royal critical auto, 2 months harvest appeals most to me. though I can't seem to find anywhere that'll ship to the states

If you're reflecting the light (like in a tent) it works well.
Lowryder is one of those two month claim strains too. Under my 400 they went 11weeks.
Imo the first 3 weeks play a big role in the size of the plant. A well cared for auto seedling will be a plant with full potential. Seeds themselves are just unpredictable, even in well established strains.

Word! Thanks for the input. I may have to go with the lowryder then. Any advice for the first 3 weeks other than the obvious?

The only thing I do that's not tried and tested is fanning auto seedlings at about a week. I've got a fan that fits in my pocket that I hit them with a couple hours a night.
Ive overdone it with a bigger fan though, and had autos herm as soon as they began to flower
Good luck bro! And follow thier lead ad best u can. Autos are their own boss lol.

Ive run quite a few autos.. I dont really have a favorite.
The biggest yield was my Northern Lights by Sensi Seeds.
I guess my favorite bud was Dark Devil, i enjoyed the looks of the purple buds and the fruity smell it had to it.
Edit: How could i forget, i just looked at my past grow logs and my favorite autoflower was PDXA, which was an auto by accident. The breeder wasnt sure if it was an auto or not. All 4 i grew turned out autos. I still have some seeds left but i dont know if they are available for purchase anywhere. Certainly would be hard to find. PDXA = Pink Diesel x Amnesia. Theres a thread dedicated to the strain on this site, so maybe ask them where they got theirs if interested.

Yielded over 90g with the northern light auto, i say over 90 because i just tossed the popcorn buds.
The PDXA buds were big thick buds filled with tricomes. The smoke was excellent and the yield wasnt to shabby either for an auto. I think i averaged 40g per plant on the PDXA. I could look up the exact yields if u wanted.

That would be helpful! Its kind of a mysterious strain. I haven't found a whole lot about it

Yep each yield was around 40g. 42g, 38g, 40g.. heres some pics of the 42g harvest:
wish i would of taken more pictures of the actual plant because it was a beauty, unfortunately i cannot find them.

Check out the post on this website dedicated to PDXA, because from what i know and a quick search of some seed banks is that PDXA cant be found lol.

Heres a youtube video on PDXA, just some guy growing the strain, not too much info. The seed bank i got it from, The Vault, im assuming either they or Seedsman are the breeders. Thats the 2 names ive heard associated with the strain. They dont have it listed on their website. If you email them, you might get lucky and might have some stashed away. So my advice is email Jack from the Vault and ask him. Hes a real nice guy and a pleasure to talk to.
Not to brag, but all my PDXA plants looked much better then his IMO. Tighter node spacing and a much more bushier plant. Only LST done.

Thanks for the resources eb, much appreciated. I've got sour diesel finishing up right now. Going to do a little grow room mantenance, Then on to the auto flowers. Your Buds look quite nice btw.
