Perhaps your right.
A good crowd of campers wanting to pitch tents would be awesome and more than welcomed.
I also agree on 18+.
Leave the kids home, bring your dog if u want and vacation in peace medicating however you like.
Have you though about using well site skid shacks? Priced to move with the current oil prices.

can't afford a vacation so I will just eat enough brownies till I can't remember where I am. and it is all legal no passport needed thank you SCOC
kinda makes one wonder.... what would happen if you ate some at the airport, they could charge you for transporting depending on how long you ate it before hand

Ive done all the math and have a folder full of quotes. Im not really in the position to build them right now but when i do i will film it and be more than willing to share just how cheaply they can be done.

Have you thought about RV's? You can pick up some used ones fairly cheap to rent out, You could attract both lower income patients as well as RV owners who want something different than bingo and golf offered at most places. You may even get a deal going with an rv rental place where your visitors get a special deal. Just some random thoughts...

Lots of rental campers in Texas/Arizona not being used much in the summer.

Ive seen 40' trailers for $1000 here too but its moving them thats a pain and they always have leaks n stuff.
A few family members of mine have summer trailers. I would feel bad renting those out.

Ya yurts are cool.
I thought the one i rented was kinda cheaply made and i wouldnt have wanted to try it in cold weather.
It was canvas walled and still $5000 to buy.
I also tried a converted school bus camper which was cool as hell but not for everyone.

The wife and I went glamping(glamour camping)...it was a gift from our kids....
the place was in algonquin...trust me I smoked the place out...lol
The food was all high end...which sucked....so the wife and I brought our own...and had a good weekend of hiking
the trails of algonquin...

What's wrong with an outhouse? I had to use one this weekend...it was a little chilly an and my balance was a bit off? On the campground subject, why not make it like fantasyland Hotel and have different accommodations? A bus, a yurt, a seacan...you get the idea...
I believe it was the hippy that said in my resort thread that women wouldnt rent a place without a nice bathroom. I think indoor plumbing is a nice option.
I do like the idea of multiple types of lodging
