Woolrock clones right into hydroton?

So i put my clones that were in a wool rock right into hydroton.

two of those clones, i put in net pots before i put them in hydroton.

are both options okay?

need more details before answering this, such as which form of hydro are you set up with, what was the root mass like on the rockwool, etc etc etc

you cant just say I stuck a plant in a pot, will it grow? details are essential

12 pot ebb and flo

root mass was sticking out of rockwool before i put in hydroton.

the ones with net pots, also roots were sticking out before i put in hydroton

on an ebb n flow table, yes both options are suffice. Only the net pot method will allow you to get a more accurate measurement of spacing between plants

if you have a 6inch net pot and a plant is in the middle of that one, and you have another 6inch net pot and a plant in the middle of that net pot as well, then you have a plant spacing of ~6inches apart...these measurement would be best used in a Screen of Green (SoG) method to get accurate spacing to optimize getting the appropriate number of plants on one table under the one light
