America Wastes $22 Trillion In War On Poverty

Why don't you go to a VA hospital and find out yourself?
Don't have to. My dad received care there after serving and coming home completely healthy, my Aunt is a nurse there, and I've done PRN work. Also... my google works.

You are trying so hard to call the healthcare system socialism so as to absolve your holy capitalism. You are pointing to the VA which is socialistic and happens to be far superior to what is available to everyone else. The part of the system you are trying not to mention, which is the part republicans cry about the most is PPACA and you desperately want to cll it socialism and by extension to call Obama a socialist. You are being forced to purchase something from a private company. That's not socialism. Medicare and Medicaid were simply expanded to include more people, that's all PPACA really is. It's capitalism.
That's the voices in your head again. Would you like for me to quote what I've actually said again? LOL at VA being a superior system. Clueless.

Your dick must be flat by now.

For an anarchist, you sure do make a lot of pro-government statements based on fantasy.

You are so full of shit.

You have misread and distorted everything I have said. To say one broken thing is superior to another broken thing, is not to a pro-gov't statement. You simply dance around my posts and never actually argue. I'm done getting trolled. Have a nice day and enjoy your privatized healthcare.

not one iota of socialism... check, you did say that

the VA which is socialistic and happens to be far superior to what is available to everyone else... yep you said that too

you do need to be a service connected disabled veteran in order to get free coverage at the VA... oh look, more bullshit from the anarchist

Now, would you like to see the quotes where you made shit up that I said?

I can't believe you keep posting in this thread and making it worse for yourself.

I stopped reading here. You are stuck on the false dichotomy, as I called it from the start when you were denying it and saying I was hearing voices. Now you want to simply focus on VA healthcare which is not for everyone, not even for most people.

I'm not interested in discussing it with you, you're clearly not either, you just want to troll. No wonder you love UncleBuck so much, have a nice day.

I'm going to keep calling you out as long as you keep doing this shit. You can make it stop by being honest.

Forgive me if all I did was focus on the VA. Maybe I should mention medicare, medicaid, SSID, county run hospitals, university hospitals, state institutions and critical access hospitals.

Because according to this post you made, it seems I haven't been mentioning those factors.

Yeah, like a broken record, but I have two words for you, private insurance.

So, now your claim is what? That all I'm doing is focusing on the VA or that I've mentioned the other forms of socialism in our system so many times it's like a broken record? Did I ever deny the private aspect of it? Have I called it a mixed market system?

You sure you want to keep doing this?

That's nice Ginwilly.

Enjoy your privatized healthcare.
ginwilly has been more than civil in his argument, he's always contented that our healthcare is structured as a mixed private/socialized system, and he is absolutely correct.
Why is it you have to be so condescending?

When the government mandates everyone to have healthcare insurance or be punished by a fine, that's government control of our healthcare system.

When the government forces use to pay for coverage we don't want or need, that is government intervention into private enterprise.

When government regulates doctors compensation, that's government controlling our healthcare system.

So how in the hell can you make the claim that our healthcare system is 100% private?

The vast majority of the left want socialized healthcare and Obamacare is unquestionably a step in that direction. Democrats know the american people will not swallow that huge pill, so they take little steps towards their goal.

It is mandatory to purchase private insurance. That is not in any way shape or form a step toward socialism.

You are one stubborn dude, even when the facts slap you in the face.
So you just keep repeating that lie to yourself, abandon.

Is this supposed to be an argument?

That it is now mandatory to purchase private insurance is most certainly not a step toward socialism, it is a step in the opposite direction. I don't say this as some kind of support or defense of Obama or PPACA, I hate them as much or more than you, BECAUSE I'm a socialist.

Did you notice that I didn't call you any names or insult you or post a picture to belittle you? Try to notice that.

I think that the mistake you are making is that you think the word socialism is just a bad word to describe anything bad. You use it incorrectly, describing anything authoritarian as socialist. Those words are not synonymous and this thing that you are trying to call socialist is in fact capitalist, hence private economic infrastructure.
