I have never once encountered a single problem in over 100,000 rounds of WOLF classic ( military ammo). Not in 5.56, not in 7.62. If you are having problems, it's probably the firearm and not the ammo. There were sticking problems when the lacquered ammo was sitting in a hot breech, but that problem is now solved.
Wolf Gold is re-loadable brass.
Most of the Milsurp soviet stuff was manufactured by Tula, Tula is the largest manufacturer of this ammo in the world.
The name of the Tula corporation in the USA is called WOLF, so when you shoot wolf, you are really shooting TULA ammo, the same company making the surplus stuff.
It burns dirty, but the AK doesn't care. Lots of ammo manufactured in the USA burns dirty too (UMC & Remington)
When you want to have fun and bang off a thousand rounds for an acceptable price point, wolf is the way to go.
