a certain chemical builds up in the tips of the plant ( flourines or some shit cant remember ) that triggers flowering
so even if you successfully clone it ( auto's have a hollow stem and are hard to clone ) then its rather pointless seeing how there is no way to delay flower
the only way to perpetually grow with a auto is from seed stock

i guess can and should are more accurate.. you might be able to get it to root but the yield you would loose from stress would negate and be counter productive....
if someone is advising you to clone their autos.. i'd say they are highly unstable (them and the seed)... i've had "autos" that wouldn't show sex under 24/0.. if i could have rooted them they would have cloned nice... but just like the guys that recommend you grow there autos under 12/12... i don't consider these true autos... an auto should be able to finish under 24hr of light and grow too fast for effective or predictable cloning!!!

ya i think i'm gunna have to do that w/my BlackJH.. i don't keep track of the time so idk exactly how long it has been in there.. but it's been a while and still hasn't sexed.. i had a hard time w/these under 24/0 but i'm on 18/6 right now... so idk wtf.. it was also started under my new T5 so i'm not sure if that might have slowed it down a little bit,,, but i just added a cunt hair of bloom w/the last feeding and stuck her under the LED

I started two autos outside, both white widows from pyramid. I came home one day and the top of one was laying in the pot. The slug was still there to. I took the top and stuck it in a pot and misted it for weeks. I had basically given up hope but then one day i noticed it had grown two new side branches. that was a month ago and now its flowering and growing fast. The other one was chopped two weeks ago and the clone just has cotton ball buds. I can post some pics if u are interested.

jacks run longer if it makes you feel any better my kc45 i have going is just preflowering at 2.5 months
i cant even tell what it is yet topped at 4th node and its still around 3'
