first time indoor bagseed

I'm really thinking of purchasing some good quality lights today, but not empty out my whole pocket.

Anyone have any suggestions for MH/HPS lights that I could possibly use for veg and flowering? My price range is somewhere between $50-$100 tops so I'd need a casing + lights. Like I said it's only 4 plants and wouldn't need to spend that much. Thanks again.

htg garden supply has some good deals....but I think they will still run a little more than your budget....if you could afford it,a 400 watt hps....make sure of switchable ballast,so you can use Metal Halide bulb for veg, then swap to the hps bulb for flower....barring that, get all the hps wattage you can afford....it will work as a veg light too....I only use a 400 hps...sealed and vented hood....and 4 43watt cfls as supplemental lighting...but I have 6 females,2 of them over 4'

bear in mind that hps and metal halide both use a ballast...and its expensive too...check out the diy section...if you are handy with with your hands, there are some of the guys here that have taken hps security lights from home depot and converted them....only 70 watts...but better than nada...good lights are one of the most important parts of your grow...How secure is outdoors for you?...just another option

I could probably do it outdoor, but it's already middle of July and I'm @ like 3-4 weeks from seed.

Would this still be enough time for me to finish it up? I'd really really enjoy just seeing these babies flower, the yield itself doesn't matter I'm just doing this for experience.

Let me know cause outdoor was my first option. Thanks again :blsmoke:

go for it...it will grow out in time
I still find it amazing that your first grow was bagseed and it looked like that.

I mean, your avatar could easily pass as some DANK nugget, not some mid grade bagseed.

What do you think caused such potency and yield? The lights most likely?

MG - Moisture control is fine if the strain you have thrives in moister soil like BC Mango , also giving them B-1 Thrive helps them to grow faster before you start giving them plant food

FACK Ok so I'm going to throw these guys outside the moment my dad yells at me again.

Any idea if it'll fuck up the veg period if I throw them outside now? Maybe it'll help them grow faster than under my 2 fluorescent lights?

going from inside to outside can cause stress on your plants

They will grow much better under the sun...start with a few hours of direct sun...give em a chance to harden a little....they have never seen anything like the sun

Ahh ok thanks yea I have plenty of space out back for sunlight and for them to G R O W.

Anything else like nutes or something to speed up the process so I don't get stuck halfway with just tall veggy plants?

Thanks for all your help guys ima be bringing them outside tomorrow/tuesday. Pics up soon.

B-1 thrive is a organic plant food that you can use from start to harvest , its awsome for seedlings that just got a taproot usaly if you have it out side the sun light and night time will do the atuo flowering for you unless you use a tarp

WELP

Figures first day I throw them back outside for sunlight, there's a rainstorm for about 2-3 days straight. MISSION DONE.

yield all depends on the rite lighting ( well mostly) and nutes. go buy about 8 CFL (42-70 WAT) and put 3-4 for vegg with ur light now and when flowering use all 8. (what ive done and it seemed to work before)
