47days 12/12 added 2 more shop lights for the hell of it. so now the plant is pretty much surrounded by a tube of lights that suck.

Been doin' the fluro thing forever (30+yrs) . . . never had any luck w/the side lighting, but may have to try again. Nice experiment! It'd be nice to not have so many small buds below the canopy. Your buds look fuller than mine.
Just got 300+ gms wet off one pic'd. A couple oz's cured. It's a re-veg. Using 3 fixtures, screwed together, above the grow only. 42-49 day strain?

yeah thats basically what i wanted to see. what would happen with the same ammount of light from top to bottom. and i got lots of popcorns and minicolas, its for smoke so hey less to break up right. wow 300+ grams is a good haul i dont expect to see anything close to that. what are you using high outputs or just the old school 40 watters like me?

Just the CoolWhite 40's mostly. The wife bought me some 6$ gro-lux tubes this round (X2) but I didn't see any mass difference, other than the blue-red hue and loss of white light. Mine's just stash too. I'm old and fluro's have served me well, having lit a lifetime's amount of stash for maybe 3-400 bux, which includes loupes, mini-microscope, scales, and $40 ( A LOT 4 me) for a product I bought on an impulse, called BushMaster. it works great!
I don't change these tubes unless/until they start flickering, etc.
Usually get 2-3 grows off a pair @$2.29

yep i read that cool white 40 watters were the way to go, i cant believe you use them till they flicker. i always read to replace them every 30 days. maybe thats wrong. ill go check out that bushmaster, im always down to try out something new.

yup me 2 bro,im updating again today,just bought 2 things of nutes from walgreens,found them hella cheap my mom works there so i get discount,got an extra bag of soil,and spray bottle to mist my baby a few times a day.but yea u and me r like around the same spending limit haha ive spent a total of like 40 on this grow and its going well,next time im gonna buy 2 more cfls so i can do better.keep up ur grow man love the CFL grows!i hate people who claim cfls wont work! its not true they work good if u have the right setup
