I think we don't know as much about this shit as we think we do.
There are many kinds of people our society calls pedos.
The people who "like" babies and toddlers probably don't care as much about the sex of their victim.
But I think most cases involve prepubescent kids about 6 to 10 years old. I guess even up to 12, that's considered child rape here. Even if the 12 year old is a willing participant, they can't consent legally.
But anyway, once a kid reaches a certain age, and it isn't very old, most predators exhibit a sexual preference.

Eehhhh idk. I believe there are a small handful people born defective that prefer sexual relationships with children. I also believe you can be molested and still turn out living a normal life, just how much or when that event impacted your life plays a large part to. Basically do i think pedophilia can occur in nature, of course there are exceptions to every rule and i am sure that law of nature is not different.
But when you get down to it in human/animal nature it is unnatural to not want to reproduce and it is widely known and accepted that no 10 year old of either gender can conceive so pedophilia at its very base is unnatural so to speak since there can never be the chance for reproduction.
