(more) yellowing leaves

Some pics from my latest grow. SCROG 28 days in 12/12. Getting some yellowing in the middle. I'm thinking Nitrogen deficiency? Also there are some burnt tips, as if nute burn, so I'm not sure what's going on... i'm growing in soil and giving slow release organic plant food.

looks like a lack of nitrogen, when problems like this arise i usually reference this. as for the tip burn, you could be overfeeding other nutrients, id give them a flush then a good dose of nitrogen.

how do i give them just nitrogen? recommended fertilizer?

Fish Hydrolysate. and or Liquid Kelp foliar and soil. Good luck and grow on.

fangule gave a good suggestion, kelp and fish emulsion are pretty high in N, i use my own homemade worm castings. would be a good idea to start compost for your next run, saves a bunch of money and actually gives rotting fruit and vegetables a purpose, to be broken down and fed to your plants.

what i have been giving her is this espoma plant-tone which is 5-3-3 so it's hard to believe there is a nitrogen deficiency.

I use the same thing.

Some strains demand more N than others though.

exactly, you could have yourself a heavy feeder, during mid flower they really start to feed. overwatering could also be contributing, those leaves do have a bit of a droop to them but it could be that you just watered as well. couldnt hurt to pH your runoff as well.

N def presents from bottom up; this is diffuse yellowing. I don't like the size of that pot for such a large plant, I hate time-release ferts. I use totes, twice the size of that pot, for big plants.

it's a 5 gallon bucket, with not much drainage like perlite so it's packed with nutes, i mixed a lot of that espoma into it. i don't see how i'm getting deficiency and severe burning at the same time, sometimes even on the same leaf! I think a good flush is in order as it hasn't been done in a couple months. could be salt build up and nute lockout possibly?

calcium may be locked out and taking the mag with it
and the burn maybe from the N

im not saying a cal/mag feed will fix it
im saying i think it is a symptom of a PH problem and when its remedied the calcium will become available and then the mag can
