Also, 4-5 ft plants usually have 2 ft at the bottom which produces nothing much, so roughly the same

I'm working with a new strain + it's a back-cross. I had to snap the main stalk to keep the light from being too far away from the rest of the plant. That plant has literally 20 (20"+) long side branches.

I have to bend and tie them down to keep them out of the light and keep the light within good power range of the smaller plant

I don't breed seeds. In and of itself not hard, but when you start breeding for specific phenos, then you need lots of room and need to take lots of notes, AND, be very careful with the pollen. Last grow due to my carelessness, instead of pollinating 2 low branches, the pollen bloomed and seeded 2 whole plants. I had to pick them out of the dried buds (long tedious process) I now have > 500 seeds

Today is day 42 of flower, and they have only been under the spyder nothing else

My BML bars are within inches of the buds with no bleaching or burning

I started seeing a few pistils ~ May 2nd I added the BML bars May 5th

Here are buds as of this morning under 432w hot5 + 2 BML bars

I sure hope the SPYDR is going to better this by a minimum of 25%

I've gotten emails from Nick on Saturday and Sunday, last time we spoke he was super busy, which is a good thing. I think you will be very impressed with your spyder, my ladies typically only stretch for 1 week once put into flower, after the first week they begin to bud up. When I used my blackstar for flowering, they stretched for about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks, I'm thinking the higher umol rating might have something to do with this ( here is another article I think MJ would be more like the Salvia in this artice). This is my second grow using the spyder for flowering and both times they stopped stretching after a week and started to bud up, the light bars were about 12" from the tops. what do you think of the light bars that mimic the sun? I'd love to have a spyder of that spectrum

My selections are Liberty Haze, Vanilla Kush, Laughing Buddha, Pinapple Chunk, Acapulco Gold, Utopia Haze.... Any feedback? I will only grow 4.

Yeah I thought the same thing after I figured out Nick would make any spectrum a spyder lol

Purple Wreck yield a little over 2.5 oz, not the greatest, but the nugs were super dense. Def a train wreck pheno and its a sneaky little bitch that kreep up on your ass. Smoked a blunt with my nigga, felt a little stoned and honestly a little disappointed but then I stood up and it hit me, an hour later I'm leaving the grocery store. Made some bomb cookies, chocolate oatmeal cookies.
