. just heard on the radio this morning that artist hr giger has passed away at the age of 74..
giger pretty much made the bio-mechanical art scene what it is today, and his work has been in numerous movies including alien..
i personally loved this guys work, very heady.. see you on the other side hr..

haven't been in a couple years, I'm getting kinda old now. Back when it first came out, My roommate took me skiing. I saw some girls boarding and I said"if they can do it" I tried it next time and never skied again. My roommate's buddy was a semi pro and he sold me the giger board.

lol, yeah, getting older sucks chuck.. i'm only going to be 43 in a month or two, but feel like an old man.. it'd be ok i think if i never quit skating, i'd be in a lot better shape and would probably still be half way decent.. but in my mid 20's or so my now ex gf said i was getting a bit too old to skate, and well, that vjj was fine, lol, so quit i did..
i went about, idk, 7 years or so ago, took my nephew, and spent more time on my ass than i did on the board..

yeah, skating will kick your ass. I grew up in the dogtown days. We had chalk wheels, then they came out with urethane and opened up a whole new world.

damn, you're an old head chuck.. lol, kidding of course, sounds like you're a few years ahead of me.. this one older guy i skated with was around in those times.. i didn't start skating till probably the early 80's or so..

So I guess he slipped and fell. I'm not sure where (his museum?)...but, the article I read said he died "from injuries suffered in a fall". He was 74 so, I'm guessing internal bleeding or something fucked up like that. Shitty way to go.
