purging with alcohol

First get lab grade (n) butane. Blast through galvanized steal or galvanized aluminum tubing. Let it sit for a day. Then put in a vacuum oven for 48 hours at 85 degrees. Flipping every couple of hours. The let sit and cool. Then soak in 100 proof alcohol for a couple days til a little after the alcohol separates the butane from wax and evaporates. Then cure for 3-4 weeks. If you are not able to do those steps. Then don't make bho. Even the cleanest bho is still toxic and highly carcinogenic. If you can't do those steps. Your bho can make you sick and be hospitalized.

I'm going to differ with you on the carcinogenic nature of BHO.

butane is not the only chemical in butane cans. There's benzene, proprane propellants, acetates, cadmium, etc .. Benzene is very toxic and highly carcinogenic. That's the worst chemical of all. Even with 95% pure wax. That benzene is still there

you said n-butane, then talk about carcinogens in the canned tane. i asked a simple Q, will dissolving your bho in alcohol or any solvent for the matter, released the trapped butane? dont make this difficult! my concentrates are fine, this is just for the sake of asking a Q.

Yup.............. :)

You should see an intense reaction at first (lots of bubbling)....then gradually stabilizing
Butane will evaporate with the alcohol.

Works great don't let to much tane evaporate before you put your everclear doesn't really work if it's thick

IMO everclear cleans better than purging. And cleaning and winterizing are 2 different things. Winterizing removes waxes that are striped using butane.
