Does it matter if you water during the day or at night? I heard you're not supposed to water during the day but with no facts to back that up any help would be nice

I cab come up with a couple logical reasons why in certain situations you would water at a certain time but generally you're fine

In nature it rains anytime day or night. I water when they need it.

This. When it's dry, you water it, but not just dry on the surface, when it's dry several inches down.

You may be getting this confused with watering the grass.
It's not good to water it on a hot day with the sun shining, it will burn.
I wouldn't foliar feed any plants while the sun is shining.
Sigma are closed and it does nothing to help the plant.

Watering the soil should be no problem though.
