Leaves clawing, but are otherwise heathy?

Well heres the basics... about 480w of CFL light on my girls, two fans, temps at 85 on, 75 off, 45% humidity. 18 days since switching to 12/12, about 14 days since showing sex. This is a picture of my biggest plant, which began clawing/drooping first. I didnt worry too much about it initially, but now more of my plants have begun to show similar symptoms, so now I'm asking. I tried switching up the watering, but i havent watered this plant in 5 days, and its still looking ike this (although the soil is still holding moisture). Normally I water every day (and before you jump on me for that hear me out). I water every day because I water them less... some of them are in fairly small pots that require frequent watering. So because i water every day, i only give them a small amount of water. Well anyways, ive tried watering less, tried more, nothing changes. Im still giving them veg nutes (29-3-4) as they still have some yellowing on the lower leaves. Im also giving them a flowering nute (0-15-15 slow release). No burn, just weird looking leaves. The leaves FEEL completely normal, not crunchy at all.
I have a feeling it might be overwatering, but I really dont give them much water (although I will admit this is my first REAL grow).

Bump, not having much luck. Nothing seems to be making a difference. Im pretty sure it isnt overwatering now, because one of the leaf-clawing plants wilted today, and as soon as i gave it water, it perked back up (but still had the leaf clawing).

i had the same issue...they will not get better...will not. but they will live all the way through flower...shoot them again with the 0-10-10 and give them some h2o2 and you will be fine...your roots arent getting enough oxygen...if you dont believe me go look at my grow journal in my signature ....you have to let your soil dry out. :blsmoke:

Ive been watching your posts and have noticed you have the same problem. Thanks for the reply. How much hydroperoxide should i give them?

I should give them 0-10-10 even though theyre nitrogen deficient?

I dont see a nitrogen deficiency in that pic....I would say 2 tspns per gallon

Nah, the nitrogen def (if any) is only on the very lower leaves. I pull maybe 3-4 leaves off (out of all the girls... not per plant) every day or other day. It might be because Im using CFL's and they arent getting enough light, though. (Im using CFL's... but ive got about 500 watts of them).

Hi Mate, I'm in Hydro and have been having this problem twice. I was not able to specifically supplement for this def. but instead did a flush and it seemed to fix it (new growth)
I realize the pic shows it only close to the buds , but my whole plant looked like that. It never seemed to slow down the plant but who knows ;)
Good luck mate,
Unity

you do not havr 500 watts bro...they dont work like that...you cant add them up...no matter how many lights you get you still have the same wattage...just more coverage. it may be due to lack of light. a plant will shed leaves it doenst use...may be the issue...fuck your nitrogen def. right now though.....my guess id your roots are suffocating. get that under controll then worry about a nitrogen issue. roots are more important and it's gonna be tough to fix them both at once:blsmoke:

Watts add, lumens do not. I am drawing 500 watts of power. If i ran two 42w cfl's, id be drawing 84 watts of power per hour. Lumens on the other hand... if i have two 8000 lumen lights, i have a total of 8000 lumens. Lumens do not add.

Im going to give them some h202 in a few minutes, hopefully theyll perk up.

lmao lumens do not add who gave you that advice even i a newbie knows that if you got 2 apple pies u got 2 not one so if you got 2 23w cfls at 1450l then u have a total of 2900l the only thing that would stay the same is the k output provided u got 2 of the same bulbs if both 23w emitt 5000k then u dont have 10000k because light is what it is u would have a almost no blue spectrum all red but the spectrum is still red not double red just red doh! watts and lumens both add hence the lumens per watt ratio

Lol, youre wrong bro. WATTS DO ADD. LUMENS DO NOT! Sheesh.

If I run TWO 42 watt CFL's, THEY ADD. Thats 84 watts of power you are drawing. WATTS ADD WATTS ADD WATTS ADD.

LUMENS do not add. Lumens are a measurement of light intensity. Two lights of the same intensity will not be more intense, they will simply cover a larger area with THAT SAME INTENSITY.

This is basic stuff. Anyway, Im pretty sure I figured out what my problem was. I think i clogged the stomatas by smoking with the plant frequently. Honkeytown, do you smoke with/near your plants? Ive been spraying them on the underside of the leaves and they seem to be improving.
