yeah it is! i spent 2 years there, the people are very friendly. the people take pride in their homes/neighborhoods. same in switzerland. the shop-keepers are up early, scrubbing their sidewalk area with mops/bucket. seems like most places in europe are overall cleaner than the u.s. except paris of course, dog shit everywhere...
Yeah, I appreciate the cleanliness and order of things in some European countries.
France is less so and yes, Paris is a shithole...first time I went there I was shocked.
Second time I went there I decided there was no reason to ever go back...subsequent trips were because I had to in order to keep the peace with other people they apparently like shitholes.

Seriously, clean up the dog shit!!!

barcelona is amazingly clean.. every night, you'd see these big ass water trucks and about 3 people along side of them with these big ass water hoses, washing down the streets and side walks.. i was blown away seeing them do this every night after midnight or so..

Malaga was nice but my favorites were the non-tourist cites, such as Salamanca, Leon, Gijon, Oviedo, Zaragoza

Ibiza is the wildest place in Spain, especially in October for the last week of the clubs

I'm sure most of you Americans on here are fine people, but from my personal encounters, I much prefer the Canadian people. The Americans that I have physically met, aside from the odd few, have been incredibly up themselves and for some bizarre reason, they think they're better than everyone. However, of the people I've met from Canada, again aside from the odd few, have been very pleasant. The ironic thing is, the Canadians who were not very pleasant, all lived in America at one stage in their life.
