Jungle Wreck with HTG Supply 2 Foot 2 Lamp PL-55 Tek Lamp

What kind of soil is it that you are using? I make my own soil mix. My next batch will be much better than this run with the addition of alfalfa, kelp, soft rock phosphate and greensand. My plant did the same thing with the leaves. Went from 3-5-7-9 on consecutive nodes starting at the second. I believe mine to be sativa dominant.

I'm using Espoma potting mix. Haven't added any nutes or anything yet. I just transplanted to 2 (?) gallon pots 4 hours before lights off as that is the best way to transplant and reduce stress as my grandma taught me. I would like to learn more on making my own mixes maybe you can help me out in time for the summer! :P I got this bag of soil for $10 at the local nursery and have heard great things about it and it's doing a nice fucking job for me so far.

*Updates* I transplanted these babies into approx 2 gallon pots that I had laying around as home depot and lowes didn't have anything plastic or cheap :/ I watered with 1 tablespoon molasses in a gallon of tap water (been using tap water and letting it sit out 24 hours. My water doesn't have chlorine but just feel like doing it anyways to be safe)

I tried to record me doing the transplant on one plant to show people how to do it (makes transplanting super fucking easy and reduces mess) but my fucking tablet didn't record SHIT! But what I did was pour some soil into the pot, place a 16 Oz cup in the middle of the pot, fill the pot with soil then remove the cup (you now have a hole where you can plop the plants root mass right into a pre made hole) water the cup to saturate the soil, squeeze the cup while rotating to compact the soil, made a "V" with my finger and placed them between the first true leafs (opposite of parallel) , turn the cup upside down, slap the bottom until the clump of soil and root mass comes lose then plop it into the hole in the pot! I then watered with a quarter gallon of my molasses mix to activate the microorganisms in the soil!

I won't leave anyone hanging.. Doing this so HOPEFULLY newbies see this and learn something. My grandma is a awesome gardener and taught me a lot of shit. Sadly, she didn't ever grow cannabis lol

Fuck yeah it is! The water comes from a natural spring near by. They also add calcium and other goodies too. But the ph is 8~. Need to pick up some white distilled vinegar as i MIGHT run into PH problems later on
Grape, lemon or orange juice all work to lower pH. Also may want to check the TDS. Or if you dont have a meter you could just flush with plain distilled or R/O water once a week to keep salts (calcium + magnesium) from building up.

I have used rain water, flushed once a month, and have not had problems last summers grow. I also used white distilled vinegar to bring down the PH of my tap water last summer. I used approx 2 teaspoons per gallon and it goes down to ~6.5. Need to pick some up. Thanks for the recommendations! I don't have a TDS meter or a PH meter but I do have a pool test kit with some strips. If I run into problems I will go buy some meters. Kind of on a budget here and am trying to keeps cost's down as much as possible and work out a system so I can harvest roughly 3 times a year. Once outdoors in the summer/fall and 2 times in between indoors.

I FIM'd #1 and #4 yesterday after the lights came on. Waiting a bit more to FIM the rest. I decided to try the "FUCK I missed" method over topping to see if I can get more then 2 colas. Fingers crossed! I also haven't fed them anything besides tap water that has been sitting out around 24 hours. Just in case... Looking for a spray bottle and will mix up some fish emulsion with water for a nice foliage feeding. The roots are starting to grow like crazy! I see them coming out the top of the soil. I wish I got a bigger bag of soil as I still have roughly 1 1/2"-2" space left to the top of my pots. I am seeing some nice white fuzz on the soil.this is good since I am going organic. They are also starting to stink a little. I ordered some Indonesian bat guano and a ONA linen block. The ONA block should get here by Wednesday and I haven't received an email on when I should approximately get my bat guano even though I won't be needing it until roughly week 3-5 of flowering. I still got time but decided to get the stuff I needed instead of waiting last moment like I did for the other stuff. Kind of fucked my self but I will still search for 2 or 3 gallon pots for next grow. I am also going to place a screen at approx 8" above the pots for the SCROG... I THINK this will give my a nice final yield.

Put 1 Tablespoon of the Jobe's fertilizer on each plant and gave a through watering. 1 week until I switch to 12/12 and start flowering

Your plants look nice. Question, Why not change pots to something bigger now before flower and put plants into a pot that is dark in nature. Your plant roots don't like light and you like your plants soooooo.....
If you are like me, at 20 days into flower you will wish that you had bigger pots... at least one plant in a bigger pot, and who knows what kind of action you will take then. So while I'm green at growing i have learned that you shouldn't settle for less than 2 gallon pots if you don't have to. Wasted potential. I like smart pots they are more convenient then i thought they were.

I agree with seth, you should transplant. I vegged for too long in my flowering container and now im kicking my own ass for it. I ordered some type of "smart pot" for the next run. 1 gallon for veg and 3 gallon for flower.

I'd be nice but too late this grow. Doesn't make sense to me to spend roughly $30 for more soil and pots when I am switching to 12/12 in a week anyways. Not to mention I have no idea which is male or female. Also, I am running out of room as is :/

I am going to construct a clone dome and start working on a cloning section of my closet, take some clones, and give it a whirl.
