the only fert im usung rite now is alaskan fish fert

it is by far the best fert for the outdoor girls ,i use fish emulsion bloody fantastic stuff

only using it during flowering. i think you can mix mollasses pretty much with anything. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Alritey guys,
thanks for this thread cos i've been reading loads about molasses and had never heard of it being used. got a few books and grow bibles and it's not mentioned anywhere in them.
i have a question tho.
i grow indoors, in soil under a 400w hps lite. can i still use molasses or is it for hydro? and if i can, same amount/level as above?
not flowering yet, not for another few weeks but this has fascinated me since seeing ppl use molasses, blackstrap or any other type.
again...great thread guys!!!
:peace:

we are also growing indoors and in soil..mollasses is fine with that. :hump:

use 2 tablespoon per gallon of water. your plants will love you for it.

Thanks cannabitch (feel kinda rude calling ya that!!! lmao).
am sure, once i flower them, the kids'll love you for it too!!

OK i use molasses all the time,,this is what u should do
measure out 1 gallon of water,,take a small part of the water and stick it in a bowl, and warm it up in the microwave,,to luke warm,,add the 2 tablespoons of molasses to the now warm water,,mix it up really well ,stir stir stir,,,once nice and dissolved no crud on the bottom,,add it to the rest of the gallon,,mix it up well, and feed normally,,this way the water doesnt get hot,and molasses is dissolved

fyi in veggie molasses makes the stem fatter and helps with nute uptake,in flowering it helps produce more resin..i use it every other week in veg every week in flower peace

You're a star floydfan- thanku for the info. will get sum and try it then stick the results in my journal.hope all the effort gets me "comfortably numb" (sorry...vpoor! lol)

I saw it in a book, and they had w/wo pics, and there was an obvious difference.. it's supposed to be like in humans it binds to certain cells and they swell like fat in people.. I'm doing it for 1st time, so I'm trying it on 1/2 my plants.. at a 1/2 teaspoon per gallon every feed during flowering... luck
