is this normal?

Hey guys, I've got 3 auto red poison going right now. 2 are looking fantastic (I think). The third however is pretty much stopped flowering for the last week or so. Is this normal? Do some autos need less light to finish flowering? Everyday I look at lights on and two are just awesome while the thirds looked the same for a week or two.

I'v grown many different auto strains, and never seems to fail, one is a marathon plant. The worst was an ak49 auto from vision seeds I cut it down week 17, never finished. No red hairs, trics were clear. Autos are fun but any more I'v come to believe its a crap shoot when growing autos. I went back to photo this last grow after 3 years of running autos. Sick of some finishing in 7 weeks and some take 14-16 or more. The last pack of Critical Jack heir autos I pop 5 seeds, (13 weeks ago) 1 was a mutant, 1 died (most likely my fault) 1 got 56g dry, 1 was 26g dry, the last is again a marathon plant hasn't started to finish yet at 13 weeks. I get their will be some difference from plant to plant and some auto are more stable than others. But sadly I think auto still are to unstable and vary to much for my liking when space and energy is limited.

Tho I have read that some auto need 12/12 to finish correctly, I'v never tried this method. If you try that method it would be nice to hear if it help or not. Sorry I cant give you any advise on how to get them to finish. But I can say I'm having and have had other that have acted this way.

For starters try putting up a picture. We get wild and crazy ideas otherwise.

... put up a picture. ... as AimAim gets wild and crazy ideas otherwise. ...lol sry aim ...lol autos are still screwed little plants and much work has to be done on the gene side, but rarely do all plants finish on time

If you run the top auto strains you won't get all the crappy genetics from the sloppy crosses. The only way you should get some auto flowering and some not is if they didn't breed past a few generations to stabilize the genes. I highly doubt dutch passion autos wouldn't flower for you when they should.

Thats a pretty bold statement to make which I find to be incorrect. Than say DP???? I'v grown a hella lot of DP seeds (love them) but yes I'v got mutants and some that that took 16 weeks plus to finish. Just saying even the best breeders and lines at times have "crappy genetics"

But I also will agree your best bet is to stick with top breeders when it comes to autos.

sorry the only pic I have doesn't really show anything. I dunno if sweet seeds is considered a good breeder or not. I'll grab a pic after work today to show the difference in the three.

I love their dark devil, not a great yield only around 50g avg per plant (10 plants run). Thats all Iv grown from sweet seeds. All 10 seeds poped and all 10 grew close to the same and finished with in a week of each other. But like I said before its mother nature and she will finish when she is ready and not before. It really sucks when 1 girls wants to be stubborn.
