58qt Brazilian Harvest

Hello. Thought i'd share the results from my Brazilian 58qt mega-dubtub. Pin set wasn't as good as i'd of liked cuz the casing was a little too wet. Here are some pics.

Check out this mutant. It's really just a big side pin. And yes i used a black garbage to line the tub.

I was shooting for 1/4 LB and i think i may have reached that goal. 950 grams wet should translate into about 90 grams dry plus i harvest a dried some last night that equaled 32 grams dry.

I'll post actual dry weight later tonight.

How much spawn did you use?

Also casing is not really needed with P cubes. Just an extra unnecessary step. From what I've seen casing yields just about the same versus uncased give or take.

Ok,so I got some serious shroom growers here..this is my idea..a bakery rack with the vinyl 'sleeve' as an environmental chamber..I could put 6 trays or more on the rack and keep the temp and humidity controllers on the bottom of the rack..any hints? Think this will work?

I used 6X1qt jars worth. I've been thinking of not casing my next tub to see what the outcome would be like.

Sounds like it would work. I've seen people fruit multiple tubs in tents before.

The results won't change by much. Not casing and misting/dunking when needed will yield the same results as casing.

Took me all night, but here are the results of dry weight. 104+32=136 grams dry.

I was shooting for 1/4lb and beat it by 24 grams. Second flush shooting for half lb. Swizzle my nizzle.

I am just getting into thinking about magic grows.. I found a setup I have seen in use by a buddy grower. He gets about 230 lbs every 4 weeks in his setup. He paid like $4000 for it but I have looked it over and think i can replicate it for about $500 myself. Just have to decide which type to grow next.

This is an elaborated form of a tek i first learned from a shroom growing forum. I did not make up any part of this tek except that it was bigger. The pin set was shit. I hope the next one will be better. It is a mega dubtub.

Hey if you think you can grow it by building your own setup do it! It's so much better when you do it yourself. Follow someone who has done it and copy em. Then tweak it out. Don't forget to piss all over em.

What did he spend 4,000 on??? It's not really about how much money you spend.... You still need experience to grow to the optimum level

not exactly sure how he had it rigged, with humidification but it was a good setup, casing grain spawn into trays fruiting them on the shelfs. wish I could find the thread
