After harvesting and drying my buds which were infested with catterpillars I learned that you don't have to treat the plants like they will break easily, I made the mistake of just looking on the outside of the plants for them and never really digging deeper into my plant because I thought I picked them off. I need to dig into those plants and make sure to look at every inch, without breaking things off or opening buds everywhere.... You know, I thought that they were resistant to everything being a weed and having read that indicas are really resilient to the ENVIRONMENT, but I took that word to literally without doing research on the pests and bugs, while just worrying about growing and mold(if only insects right). It was a huge fuck up on my part, and it is a lesson that had to be learned. I'm glad it happened, it gives me a chance to really reflect on the ammount of time and effort that goes into growing, and how I need to make the time I spend with my plants worthwhile time. To achieve the quality of bud that I want to be growing will definately take me indoors, but all I have is good ol mother earth, some good free compost from a mushroom farm, safer bt, neem oil, a good bunch of people with knowledge online, a passion to grow, sweet amazingly grown buds to accompany me, and for friends that we used to chill with that shared the same love that I do for marijuana but lost their way when things got hard and turned to actual drugs. I thank mother earth every day for growing such an amazing plant that makes living possible.
