One frig is totaly gutted no motor parts or anything else the other still has all parts and is a working frig (was till i cut a hole in it) i disconected the motor so it cant kick. IS that a issue IF i have to ggut that one i will but i would have to find a way to do it without taking the frig out of my garage and i was told freon can kill you so i didnt want to mess with it.

i would just let it be, but if you keep using that to grow and you see frequently occurring problems; i may consider that as the culprit. i have never heard of a fridge being used as a grow box so i'm no expert. just wanted to get a better understanding actually. i don't think it would let anything off unless it was punctured. might be empty already.

Hello all
Update 2 of the clones i took were dead today but the other two are looking great lol. using mg seedling starter that is pre nute 1/5/1 for fast root growth. I have never cloned befor so any hints on this would be great. I figured the duck tape would work and was on hand.

i am guessing thats why the two died lol they only had 1 node on them and were only 2" long lol

Hello all
Update my crazy mutant plant got a little lst last night and the branches are already pointed upwards and have about 3/4" growth. I noticed this moring that they are starting to develop a smell the short bushy one named B is super skunky when the leaves are moved the bigger one named A ( how original right ) has a sweet almost citrus smell to it. I wish i knew for sure the strain i am now starting to dought the person that gave me these seeds HE is a avid NUG only smoker so they are probably bag seed but it is still nuggets right lol. I placed my order with a friend to get me some SD and WW i really love those strains (due to outdoor rip off i have no seed or smoke "yet"). I will post pics later today for everyone to see

Thanks

Hello all

Update after a day without seeing the beauties I am impressed with the amount of growth the frig is starting to look full lol the short bushy plant is crazy it has some leaves that look like sage leaves and the big fan leaves are the only ones who look like there supposed to the smell when i open the door now is quite strong. I am loving it though. I am noticing some yellowing on some of the tips of the leaves this is a N defficency I think going to start adding Super Bloom next few days as Today is day 45 I plan on starting flowering on day 50 (any pointers on this would be nice).

Thanks guys

Frig

I am thinking about SROG with these two any one have any pointers to give me on this i was going to use one of the racks from inside the frig. I can raise and lower the lights with ease.

I had the same thing happen on the tips of one of my plants and I thought it might be the potting soil and the nutes in it. I quit giving any nutes for about a week or so and totally stopped misting my plants with a weak solution of nutes and it went away. I think it was my misting that might be doing it. So it may be too much nutes if your potting soil already has them in it and you are adding... It really didnt hurt anything, just tiny brown on tips. Good luck.

Hello all

Update ....... Had a major accident yesterday and need in put from anyone who has experience. I had taken the suggestion of another member and bought a small 250w space heater for the second frig. I want everyone to know that this is a VERY BAD IDEA. I placed the heater in the clone veg box (thank god not the big one) and had it set to the lowest setting (not thermastat controled) and closed the door and went about my buisness 30 min later thinking to check the heat I opened the frig to find it full of thick black smoke and the heater melted to shit. I FREAKED as both frig's are connected i opened the main one and it was 3/4 full of black smoke (I almost started to cry). I vented the intire area and frig one of the plants looked really bad wilted on all the new shoots and small specs of black soot everywhere on them both. I cleaned them off and flushed the pots till the water was clear the little bush one looked even worse. I placed them back into the main chamber and said a prayer. I went out today and all the wilted areas are now brown and dieing. I trimed off all of the wilted and dieing areas on both plants.

CAN PLANTS BE EXPOSED TO THE TOXIC FUMES THAT ARE RELEASED WHEN PLASTIC IS BURNED AND RECOVER.

any input would be greatly appreciated i will post pics later today of the disaster.

Man sorry to hear abo8ut your accident, I have no idea if they will recover. Hopefully they put out new growth and recover. I wouldnt think it would take much heat at all in a refrig. with all that insulation. I'm thinking I would go for a heating pad or something simple. Whatever you use needs to be controlled by a thermostat so this doesnt happen again....
