This is kinda true. (not the sticky part though) The molasses will feed the microbes ......and in a good environment, the microbes will multiply and thus be able to eat more organic matter (plant food) and what they shit out is broken down and readily available to the plant. The OM organic matter sitting in your dirt cannot be used by the plants until the microbes shit it out.I've also read that the molasses has a tendency to cause more of the nutrients that are sitting in your soil to be pulled up into the plants faster.

Well i dont have the hands on to answer this one. What medium do u use? If you are using completely in-organic food , i would say no your plants probably wont benefit from it. I really dont think it will hurt and might even provide some trace elements, but i would not use a tbsp to every single gallon. maybe just a tsp per gallon. My guess is that it could be as bad as using any food heavy, and might even cause its own salt build up , but i am not sure. I just know that all these years they been sayin that it makes the flowers bigger , with more resin is a lie.i flush medium weekly to avoid salt build up so i wont c any benefit from molasses? will it cause harm if i use it any way? u guys kick ass thanks for all replies
any source of carbs will feed the bugs even white sugar , but it has been refined so much that all the good trace elements are not present in white or regular sugars.this is my first grow. i tryed it and buds got bigger. but some people use sourwood prue raw honey. works good. good luck ,these buds for MEEEEEEEEE!
