(12/12 from sprout??)

maybe they live in a little apt. and they dont have electricity so they steal it from their neighbor but the neighbors only gone 12 hours out of the day, so he cant use 18 or 24 hours of electricity cuz then the neighbor will kick his ass. and he cant grow outside cuz everyone will see it. but he really wants to grow....... other than that i cant think of any reason, that just stupid you would yeild a couple grams max...

Thats pretty much all there is to it mate, and a higher chance of herm's.
Youd get a bit more than a couple of grams per plant though, maybe a Q - half Oz each with lots of light.
Id rather do 12/12 with just rooted clones from a good mother rather than from unpredictable seed.

Yep a higher number of smaller plants, i cant really answer how long it would take because that is entirely strain/lighting/growing environment dependant.
If you start seedlings on 12/12 theyl still grow like theyre in veg for a couple of weeks (although very fast) before they start to flower, they wont flower straight away.

i dont have access to rooted clones only seeds.obviously its going to be completely different starting from seeds.
Well when your growing out your seedgrowns, if you find a good, lush, fast growing, smelly female in veg keep it in veg and use it as a mother to get some cloning practice on, cloning is piece of piss mate trust me.
I wouldnt do 12/12 from seed personally, forcing flower on such young plants increases your chances of them going herm tenfold.
Flowering rooted clones from a good mother this risk is much less, because the mother it came from is already mature, and so will be the clones from it.

i understand.basically its not the right thing to do.
In a way yea, not saying it cant be done succesfully because many people do it nowadays, but if youv got a half decent sized growspace then its pointless IMHO.
Much better off doing a SOG with clones and give them a little bit of veg time (which im doing next grow with 20-25clones) if you wanna follow my journal?

Sup Luda, After the growing seaons ovr (Since i'm pretty much all out door) I plant 2 to 3x's As many seeds as I do during growing season so I can get a decent yeild also I its good for breeding just for seedsnin less time but, I've seen your work, indoors, So personaly if you can control growing (Inside) Your better off planting less seeds and getting bigger plants, but you'd know that haha.

can anyone explain why some people 12/12 from sprout.
i am just looking for the basic advantages and disadvantages of this method and why its done.
thanks for any advice.

so if you dont know what 12/12 does why were you insisting that most strains dont need a 12/12 period (or similar) in order to flower?
12/12 is done from seed in order to get a quicker harvest (since there is no veg, similar to a plant dropping a seed mid-summer and that seed having to grow with less light than its mother did), subsequently the plant flowers quicker.
