I have been a member here for at least two years. I have watched this site denigrate into a right wing wasteland. The majority of posters are right wing idiots and there is no longer dialog going on, just ranting by the righties. I will stop by occaisionly to see if there is any new stuff, but to the unending joy of you righties, you win, this site now officially belongs to you. Such a waste of a good site. I wonder, are there any champions of the left, left? It is so boring listening to idiotic talking points from FOX noise. One has to wonder how far the average IQ on this site has dropped in the last two years.

I think there are a lot of lefties that hate whats going on too. Maybe people have woken up and hate all forms of government.
Why keep making it a left and right wing thing, when it's an American thing? Screw all politicians.

there is certainly way too much grandstanding and strawman bashing in this forum. you are not allowed to express an opinion without being baited and pecked at (followed by cliquey 'me too' posts), valid points are routinely ignored, and good luck sticking to a particular topic (everything leads to the illuminati or a string of anti-obama rants).

certainly discouraging.

there are some people here with whom i cannot agree with on anything political, yet they have maintained a friendly and mutually respectful dialogue...all of which i can count on one hand.

Med get off the left and the right... IT IS A MIND CONTROL SCHEME... Most of us all want the same to live our lives doing what ever pleases you with your family instead of being slaves to the PTB (Powers That Be) and their left right paradigm. The 2 party system is a JOKE. You need as many parties as people can create and may the best most qualified win.

This is what happens when you adopt a contract without reading the fine print. Lots of folks didn't bother to read the lies and empty promises.

It's a lot easier to blame those who did their homework than to face urself in the mirror I suppose. I do my homework. I plan ahead.

Ya addicting is right! The amount of work I do at "work" has dropped dramatically since I found this site.

Med, your frustration stems from an innate misconception of smokers. Understandable considering you do not smoke and have shown contempt for smokers in posts too numerous to mention.

This site is about liberty and civil disobedience. It's about FREEDOM. The freedom to choose how we recreate.

Hell, a sizable number of the members here are dealers who pay no income taxes on their earnings. Not terribly Progressive.

The Top Ten things I will miss most about Medicineman:

10) Class warfare;
9) Entitlement mentality;
8 ) Race Baiting;
7) Failure to realize that Democratic hypocrisy is as distasteful as Republican hypocrisy;
6) Over-generalizations and blanket indictments;
5) Self-pity;
4) Self-righteousness;
3) Refusal to provide evidence/sourcing required to prove a point;
2) The overpowering silence from you when a valid point is driven home unambiguously;

And finally...

1) Counting how many times the word 'greed' is employed in any given post.

I don't know Johnny, maybe us evil, right wing monsters ought to be ashamed of ourselves, we've driven Med man off the site again.

How horrible of us. I mean, we come here get engaged in some discussion, often posting threads and insulting no one and then people like Med (I will not name the others that do the same) insult us, and provide no alternatives to what we are proposing or saying.

Yet, we're the evil right wing monsters that have driven him off this site.

What's funny is that some of the people that he'd accuse of being right wing are probably moderates, and right-leaning Democrats, and others that are thoroughly sick of Obama, and only voted for him because of the legalization issue.

But still, we should be ashamed... not.
