What kind of exhaust fan do youhave? It seems like your temps are higher than they should be for only having one light.

I'm afraid thats not going to be enough for exhaust, especially when you add more lights. I'm running 12 23 watt cfl's in flowering and I've got a 200 cfm vortex fan and carbon filter and if I don't keep my closet door open my temps get up to 86 or 87. So if you are at 84 already you need to start thinking about getting a better exhaust and where to run the exhaust to. You usually can't exhaust it into the same room you are growing in unless the room is pretty big....

so i wake up this morning and saw the stem pretty weak...she kinda lean in one direction almost looks like falling down so i decided to put her in a bigger pot and cover half the stem to support her..how's my plant look on her day 3?
btw i have this one gallon water bottle and already adjusted ph to about 6.5..my question is can i leave the adjusted water in a corner to be ready whenever i feel like watering my plant or do i have to use all of the adjusted water at one time? oh and this question goes with nutes too..when i put nutes in water..do i have to use it at once? because i want to set up at once and just be ready when i feel like water my plant if you know what i mean

Hi eokay, nice setup :) Im growing some WOS seeds now too, the pakistan ryder . Its going ok so far, just give it more time :) Maybe you need more watts of light , i'm using 2x 48w and the pakistan ryder is growing good with it, no streching or some weakness.

For the water, im making 2 bottles for every week, one with clean water and one with nutes, so im giving them 1-2 times water + nutes and 1 time clean water.

And i dont know about the afghan ryder, but the pakistan ryder started smelling on the second week, so you need to start thinking about the odor :)

Keep up the good grow :)

Make both your fans exhaust, cut a small hole in lower part of your box to act as a passive intake might help with temps

nice man..your plants growing hella fast! the reason why i dont add more lights because right now she's only 4 days old i'm afraid if more lights she gonna get burn..but i'm gonna add another 26watter and see how she reponses
btw what ur temp running at?

yeah i was thinking about that too..right now my temp is around 80s it's kinda high but i dont see any problem of my plant right now..is there any other way to lower the temp besides running ac and exhaust? can i put a cup of ice in the box? i heard co2 is good but does it bring temp down?

you really don't have to worry about your temps until you add more lighting, like ceaser said above. Keep in mind people outdoor grow all the time and temps get well into the 100s (at least were i live) and they survive, I'm not saying high temps are ideal but, i am saying they are survivable. how big is your set up? is it in a box in the closet? you can tun your exhaust fans into carbon filters... got to wally world, they sell replacment carbon filters by honeywell, for thier airpurifiers, there's like 4 in a box, you cut the filters into a circular shape to fit your fan, and there you go. I'm a little wrecked right now so if any of this doesn't make sense let me know i'll try to clarify. peace i'm gonna go check on my babies for a bit :)

I would suggest changing bulbs to 2700k. My Afghans love FFOF 2700k bulbs 24/0 from seed to harvest. There is really no veg period with autos, and with their short life span, again I would change the bulbs to 2700k and either run 20/4 or 24/0.

BTW - Afghan Kush Ryder is really really good stuff. Good choice.

yo thx for ur suggestion man..the reason why i use 6500k right now is i want to get the plant as big as it can and when i see her "hair" then i'm gonna switch to 2700k..but idk i might mix them up when she medium in size..my light schedule is 20/4 all the way :D
