This is my first grow. The strains are unknown due to it being bagseed. I'm using a total of 15 cfls 28,800 lumen 432 watts. I have 2x14w 2700k, 4x19w 6500k, 4x23w 2700k,4x42w 2700k, and 1x68w 2700k. I have an oscillating fan blowing in front of both plants and a single desk style fan blowing over the top of the taller plant. For ferts in veg I used miracle grow all purpose and for flowering i've switched to Jack's Classic bloom booster 10-30-20. The soil is scotts top soil with perlite and lime. Temps with lights on are in the mid 70s and with lights off mid 60s. Humidity is around 45-55 percent. These pictures show them 2 weeks into flower.the cowdog 172.jpgthe cowdog 182.jpgthe cowdog 187.jpgthe cowdog 184.jpg002.jpgthe cowdog 186.jpgthe cowdog 179.jpg004.jpgthe cowdog 181.jpg

I forgot to mention that I have been using 1tbls of molasses every watering since the start of flowering. I also wanted to add a few more pictures. 003.jpg004.jpg005.jpg006.jpg007.jpg

Don't over do it with the molasses.. the soil will start crapping out on you. aim for 1 table spoon per gallon every week.

Hey thanks for the feedback on the molasses I will definitely keep an eye on the soil. I wanted to give a small update. I have removed the 2x14w cfls and replaced them with 2x23w as well as adding an additional 2x23w all at 2700k. I now have a total of 17 cfls, 496 watts, 33,400 lumen. Here are some pictures.

Well.....it looks healthy, but it looks weak. Weak plants...small harvest. Go to homedepot and get the big cfl. It's the size of a 2liter.

Hey I agree with you the side branches are pretty thin. I actually already one of the big cfls its a 68w 300w equivalent putting out 4200 lumen. Its in between both of the plants you can see it in my first picture. On top I have two 42w in a y splitter making a total of 5600 lumen so combined I'm better off having the two small cfls vs the one big. I think my main problem is the fact I'm wasting a lot of light. I cant close my closet doors due to heat issues so there's a ton of waste.

Not sure of your situation......apt. or homeowner.....but you could cut a hole in the closet ceiling and mount a fan so it sucking fresh air from under the closet doors. If that's not possible maybe just drape a white sheet across to reflect some light and still have some airflow...or just make yourself a set of badass diy aircooled cfls fixtures....OR both:eyesmoke:

Btw I think your plants look ok to me...to help with thin branches you should use majority blue spectrum bulbs during veg and keep a good mixed spectrum thru flower and try to throw in some for side lighting.GL.peace

Wow! Your fixture is great! I like your setup. I'd love to build something like that eventually when money permits. What kind of fan is that? For the time being I think I'm gonna try draping something like you suggested. I was thinking of using an emergency blanket. Thanks for the idea man. +rep

Emergency blankets??....the mylar ones?:)......cool!...I hope everything works out for you!
Thanks!....they were fairly cheap to put together. If you had to buy everything needed....+/- $50ea.

Here is a few more pics. They are now at 3 weeks into flowering. Ive added another cfl to the top of the plant on the right for a total of 18. The first five pics are from the plant ive been keeping on the right, the other 3 are from the plant on the left.
