CFL Grow with G13 Blueberry Gum from Attitude

i received my order fro the tude today so have put 1 blueberry gum seed in to germinate and will post progress as it happens. i have decided to go for 1 plant at a time this grow as i think lack of space stunted my northern lights on last attempt. and with Fem seeds heres hoping for my first girl in 3 grows.

using 125w dual spec cfl and 3 100w cfls as side lighting.
biobizz grow and biobizz bloom for nutes
starting on 18/6 lighting then switching to 12/12 after about 5 weeks depending on size.

the seed has cracked this morning but still not quite enough root showing to pot up yet but will hopefully be in soil by end of today. will get pics up asap.

In my opinion, as soon as the seed splits apart and you KNOW it's gonna grow, that is the time to plant it. If you wait till it grows the beginning of it's taproot, you can damage it when you plant. I know everyone has their methods, and by all means if it works, don't change it...But just wondering why you wanna wait till it has a root when you already know it's gonna grow since it split apart?

i dont know why i have just always waited till there is at least half a cm of root before i plant no one has ever told me other wise. i am gonna pot the seed in the next few hours now anyway will get pics of cracked seed and shit up soon, then let the real fun begin just hope it grows as fast as it suggests on the website.

So thats the seed been put in soil now so hopefully will see it shove its head above ground 2morro. im just gonna need to try and contain myself for the next few months till its ready and pay a shit load of £££ for my smoke until then lol

some slight growth in the last 4 days but not much maybe i am expecting to much to fast. but at least its moving lol. hopefully will notice a bit more growth now as the 2nd week goes on.

Now on day 11 of veg and the plant is starting to take shape now i'm starting to notice more growth everyday and gave it its 1st proper feed today with a small amount of nutes and will gradually increase it as the weeks go on.

i know its early yet but i think i want to try topping this plant so as to make 4 main colas and maximise the yield in my small grow area. my question is when is the best time to do this and does it slow the growth down while the plant recovers? also is it as simple as snipping the top off the plant then the side branches then get more energy and form into larger colas?
any help and tips would be much appreciated.
