Preflush before harvest?

Some say to do it and some say not to. I use foxfarm soil and nutes, as long as I decrease gradually from them and give 10 days dryess I should be good right? Its been 66 days flowering so far for the WW's.

i always heard to do a flush to get the ferts out

Flushing is mainly for hydro growers who use chemical nutrients daily until the end. Soil growers can simply stop adding fertilizer and use plain water for the last couple of weeks.

i do soil and always flush i found that they just taste better if any thing. better safe than sorry right? also no water before harvest speeds drying and i dont know but i think also more resen if given a 24 hr dark period right before pulling the plug

That is what I do to. In the end you get the same result.

So Pot do you recommend flushing ? how long/before harvesting? just straight water right?

yeah flushing is a lot of water

lets see 25 plants at 2 gal = 50 gal of water and wet soggy plants.

clean plain water for the 10 days or so = easy smoking

i use soilless soil method i think its called. 20-30%soil with lotsof drain medium + all organic and hydro nutes (lots of them tooo)!!

wait 75 gal of water .

flushing is usaully like 3 time the poting capacity right??

if so thats a lot of water.

I am growing straight hydro though.So what about he time frame with that.more/less?

dankciti, you confuse me....it may be because i just smoked... or you were high when you posted.
im thinking that its a combo of them both

you guys ever get that overwhelming high? like it just hits you hard, kinda knocks your socks off? because it happens to me sometimes...like right now!
i think it happens when i havent eaten much that day.
