What are temps like with the new light? Looking good though man.
Thanks bro. More than I thought. I had to turn the fan/filter to 100% to keep the temps at 79-80, but they fell to 58 last night. That's a bit cool right? I have a 4" fan/filter I could set up to run at night and shut off the big one that would probably get me back over 60. It stays 62-64 in my basement.

Can't wait to see the Snow Goddess...
She is beautiful...

Sorry if I missed this but....

Which one you growing?
High CBD?..or the high THC?

I'm assuming the former, considering the remainder of the line-up.
Both. The little one is the high THC. The middle one is the high CBD.

If these blue mats don't pan out for you a soil tester would work great for you or after a a few weeks of growing by just tipping the pot to see the weight of it is also to know when to water. :-) happy growing
Thanks. I love the Blumats despite their hazards. The plant literally drives the bus on when it gets a drink.

Yeah 58f is a little low with those lights on temps, try and keep the temps from fluctuating too much (5 - 10 degrees, less is better usually). If your lights on are around 80, try and get those lights off temps to stay around 75 - 80 if possible ;-)

That's a great temp to try near the end of the plants life if you want to try adding some colors to the buds :joint: , some plants like to turn the buds slight pink/purple/etc. when the temps get a little lower at the end of the life cycle

Thanks. I too believe that cold night temps help the fruit at finish.... same as peppers... have a dry year with super hot days and cool nights and you get outrageously hot peppers. But, 58 ain't gonna cut it during veg. I shut down my 4 bulb T5 and we'll see where the temps go. I may just pull that light out also.... just too much crap in there. If I pull it, my lighting situation will be as follows:

315w CMH
260w LED (480 theoretical)
144w T5s
719 watts

~45 watts/sqft

I should probably pull the T5s in the corners of the tent as I don't think they do much, but they ain't hurting nothin either. The 4 bulb T5 bulb is just in the way, but it may stay also.

Supposedly the LEDs and the CMH pack more punch than a straight up HPS due to the light being emitting in the spectrums that the plants want with little waste. Don't know about that... but we will see :-)

Uh oh, looks like the Blumats ran some last night .... now the trick is to not fiddle with the settings too much... tall order for a bored stoner.

I'm using a small space heater to combat the temp drops, I just set up outside my tent and it shuts off when the desired temp is reached. Keeps my temps 72* at night and 78* with the lights on.

Ok, the temps are stable at 77 deg and the fan is now at 50%. We'll see how cool it gets tonight. If it's still too cool, I'll add a space heater.

This ought to give you all a chuckle. I tried to repair my 1/2 busted LED today. Involved some soldering of a jumper wire, etc. I got the side that was busted fixed (they're just like Xmas lights, one light goes out and the whole string goes out because they are wired in series). Then I put it all back together and the other side quit. :wall:

As I'm heaving the piece of shite out into the garage, my old lady walks by and says "why don't you just buy a better light"

WOOT!!!!!!

I'm going to get a 2nd Agro light tomorrow and I'm gonna pull all the rest of that crap out of the tent. Stoked I am. I'll just have to decide whether to leave the LEDs in for spectrum.

Man, I love your set up, so clean..

Props.. I need to look into one of dem dare Argo lights..;)

I picked up two different space heaters as, I'm fucking stuck in the damn garage.

My oil filled” radiator” style heater does not emit any light besides the red power light, which I can fix with a square of guerilla tape.

She is compact yet stout, medium on the rheostat, kept the room at 65° on those cooler of really cold mornings last week, then I got a forced air space heater that I place outside next to an intake.

Hopefully, when it gets Colorado Cold, this combo will work..

I also recycled my exhaust and ran it back into the tent, for the nights I had no supplementary heating.

Space heaters are getting more and more” grower friendly”...hmmm...?
Wonder why?

Most companies just make everything "safe(r)" so they don't get sued after some dumb ass burns his/her house down when they fail to read those pieces of paper called... Instructions :bigjoint:

So, 57 deg last night and fan only running 50%. Space heater time. I'll post picks up when I have the 2nd Agro lamp in there tonight.

Check it!!

(2) 315w Elite Agro lamps
(2) 240w 7-band LEDs (270 real watts at the plug combined)

900w total output.

Temps are at 76 and climbing, fan/filter running at 2/3

I currently have he lights about 3' over the tallest plant.

The Z7 wins the prize for the first gal to latch her lips onto the blumat. Greedy chick is already sucking down the water, drain trays under the pots are bone dry thank god. Knock on wood..... I opened SG3s Blumat 1/4 of an arrow as it hasn't drawn water yet.

I bumped up the thermostat in the basement to 68 from 64. Theoretically this should bring my night time temp from 59 to 63. That's getting livable IMO. We'll see tonight. There is a hot air duct running overhead in my grow room for the upstairs. If it's still too cold, I'll cut a vent into it for the grow room.

This is my 1st attempt at a scrog. Any advice is much appreciated. It's nice to be able to look at my plants in what appears to be real sunlight.... fools me anyways. The pic of the plant top looks like I snipped it on purpose, but was an oops. That's the Z7... I guess no Xmas tree this grow.

I had to revise the Blumat plumbing.... Hopefully I got all the trapped air out. :wall:

Fed some Treme tea spiked w/ RO Elemental. The baby is the Tora Bora - will transplant her to a 1g pot tomorrow as she is clearly well rooted.

Feed that little tora bora it's a wee pale. As for the scrog just feed what branches in what spots you want them. Great job so far though!

edit really medicated and didn't see that you fed it. Lol

Still running the cmh? If so how long? @900w do you still feel this setup would bE as efficient as a 1000w? Looking nice. Just got a cut of tora bora. Hoping for good things.

I think I have most everything dialed in (famous last words). The blumats may need to be adjusted open a bit more, but I'll wait till there better rooted in the 5g pots. I'm one week after the transplant and I think they're liking something, could be the teas, or the fresh FFOF soil, or they're digging the blumats, or the air pots or the nice rays.... or, more likely, all of the above :weed:

I dropped the little Tora Bora in a 1g pot and she's taking off, will transplant to 5g in a couple of weeks.

My temps are under control, I think.... Staying mostly 79 lights on and 63 lights off.... but the 6" filter exhaust is maxed. I'm thinking of sticking a 4" fan/can2600 filter that I have laying around into the tent also. I would exhaust this one also.... if it works like I think, I could shut the 6" down at night by running it on the light circuit timer and just run the 4". I'll be changing a lot of air though, but I had the air whistling through my cab last grow and the plants did ok.

Next update next Friday. You all have a great weekend. The screen is already filling up. The Tora Bora better get a move on, or it'll be like trying to get on a train in China lol

Nice tho...
Thanks! Question bro, does the Tora Bora grow out like an Indica or sativa.... Due to space I'm hoping you say Indica

Also, for anyone, on temp. Would it be better to run at 82 degrees F lights on, 64 lights off...... or 77 degrees lights on, 61 degrees lights off?
