Your Water and PH Control!

No sweat my man. When I originally had the same problem I googled around forever trying to find the cause. Seems like every other mj growing thread would go " hydroton is fucking with my ph" and then others would chime in " Nuh ugh, it's inert".

Did you soak yours? Did they fizz after sitting a day?

Ha you were right about a shit ton of down.

The fizzed heaps on the first day then stabilised about 48 hours after we first started.

Sweet, glad to have helped. If you want to save some ph down cash you can pick up a jug of muratic acid and use it instead of the hydro stuff. It's hydrogen chloride acid; well chloride gas and water but let's not get too anal. Anyways, it's fine for your plants and is allot cheaper than the hydro ph down. Mix it at maybe 10:1 with water.

Don't be a jackass when using that stuff. Gloves and glasses are mandatory as chemical burns will fuck you up!

FYI. My ph up is pure lye (drain cleaner) and water. One teaspoon of lye to a quart of water.
