Point to point encryption for anything sensitive, it should be far more commonplace than it is now.
That is not what this is about, and encryption will not change anything. You can encrypt everything from your computer to the destination, and your ISP will still know where it is going. The only way to defeat this would be to use at least two remailers, and encrypt all along the way.

The destination isn't as important when you can deny the content though ;)

doesn't this happen already? when i go shopping for things online, the next thing I know all these internet companys are stalking me with advertisements for similar items. I never gave them permission to stalk my shopping desires on line. Its like how did they no i was looking for a black rain coat?
Start buying your vibrators/plugs at the mall like I do, ffs!

The FB i have carnivore at your isp recording everything. The ns a cia russia have taps on main switch points that all traffic goes through google records everything you do through chrome and google sign in sites like youtube ect all searchengines track who is searching what. any site you visit can get any info you see or give and record that with you ip info this info routinely gets passed around and sold, as well as hacked. Also banks lose hard drives ect. so you never know who's opened what file on you.
