Young Trim worth it? (get your mind out of the gutter, this is a grow site!)

I started writing that title and after reading it got a laugh!

But my question pertains to trimmings that are taken during veg, like when trimming off the bottom foliage or damaged leaves, ect not necessarily leaves that have tric's on them. I know they will have some thc in them, would it be worth while to keep and dry them then try to extract the thc for tinctures or even making goo or hash?

You can make hash from the leaves, won't be like bud hash, but i will be hash.
There are guide's all over the internet on how to get the oil from the leaves and make hash.

personally I think ISO would be the only thing that would make it worth while if it work(hope it does, report back so I can use some of the young trim lol).

I am no expert but i would have said the exact oppisite, I guarntee that an iso wash will produce something but i would make it a real quick wash, Iso washes can extract other stuff then just the active compounds and i know from experience that some of the things can be quite nasty when smoked if you wash it for to long. Something like dry sieving, bubble bags, blender hash or the gumby method won't usually give you as many contaminates. So if there is nothing there you may get nothing but if you do get something you will have answered your own question and have a smoke that is truly tasty and enjoyable.

Good Luck

Well if you have no equipment the gumby method is a good one. But perhaps i was to quick to judge before, an iso wash is certainly the easiest method, just my least favorite product, however if your working with a small amount it may be the least painful route to getting something.
YouTube - Making ISO Hash For The First Time i didn't watch this one but heres an iso demonstration.

Enjoy

Ok guys, thanks for the replies! I can either throw away the leaves or put em to use, I guess it's worth a shot once or twice just to see for myself, so I guess I will start saving them and see what happens for a few times.

I'll wait a few weeks and once I have a good amount of them saved up I'll try either ISO or oil infusion (for cooking something), I'll post some pics and let you guys know if it was worth it or just a plain pain in the ass!
